I'd rather play with my big plastic box of legos with my friends.
Minecraft and Blockland play entirely differently; it's apples and oranges. The only similarities are they both have sandbox building modes, though Blockland has a far superior (IMO) building component, as it allows for much higher detail in buildings than Minecraft, has infinite (repeating) maps, and you can have minigames running in build servers; so you could build a death match arena then start a minigame inside it.

Playing on a trench wars server; it's basically team deathmatch but you can deform the dirt (brown bricks) and use it to construct forts or dig tunnels to the enemy. Fun, but can get kinda grindy.

Main problem with Blockland is that the majority of the community is dumb as hell; most of them being 10-13 years old. There's even a drama section on the game's official forums for people whining about each other.

Don't bother with this game, the community may seem appealing at first but you then realize they're either egotistical teenage shitheads or ten year olds that overuse old memes. The game itself is okay, but if you have real Lego, go play with them instead of sitting on your computer being an asswipe playing with virtual Lego.

Where can I find that minigame? I tried using something like it a [i]really[/i] long time ago and it didn't work.
If you can point me to the newest version of it, I'll start hosting again.
I'll admit it looks cool but hardly worth any amount of money.
Gotta love how people compare Blockland and Minecraft because they're based around building things with blocks (Hint: Blockland has more than blocks).

I've played Blockland, wasn't very good, though it had some good buildings. It was good, I built a fort.

Minecraft is cheaper and have more content, and is adding even more content. The community is also a lot better.

That's true, the game it's self is ok, just the Teenage idiots or the 10 year old cockheads. I don't really get it though, they've made a game that you can build stuff out of lego, why don't you just get off your Computer get out you're lego (if you have any) and build it without idiots telling you what to do.
