Who gives a shit? Valve doesn't, they're not the ones selling the product.
actually they do because if razer sees people using maps made specifically for their product and they get mad they get mad at valve for not doing anything
If they make an application compatible with this that makes it work like a virtual Theremin, I'm sold.
If they make a motion controller that is affordable to the aervage person then I'm sold. I can't afford to spend $140 for something that isn't even a new game, it just lets me play games I already have differently.

That is...pretty cool, actually. I like how the Portal 2 DLC now has its own store page too, though it says you need 'base game Razer Hydra PC Gaming Motion Sensing Controllers on Steam' in order to play. :v:

USA only
Holy shit, it's compatible with both Half-Lifes, Team Fortress 2, both Left 4 Deads, GTA 4, and Crysis 2.
What doesn't this thing do.
Uh, it's compatible with pretty much every game ever made, it's just those games that are supported out of the box.
What they should do instead is have a list of the games that use the controller's features, like portal 2.
I'd imagine it's like the novint falcon: amazing with a few games (penumbra), and meh and uncomfortable with most others. I'm still tempted to buy it because I don't own portal 2 yet, but I'll wait for reviews and more demo videos.
If it gets good Hammer support though... instant buy.
