Are you contradicting yourself in a confusing manner? Re-formulate, man.
Judging from all that's posted though, the 10% that hasn't seem to be the most vocal.
Other way around actually, because a lot of people said that your statement was false. Meaning the 90% was more vocal.
I don't know, I love Battlefield 2, but all I find are servers with the utmost retarded admins, grenade spam, lag servers.. Just doesn't make it fun anymore. That and I have no one to play with and bro-op cap flags :(
How do I get the grappling hook? I own that special forces expansion
Play as anti-tank and I think one other class gets it but I don't remember.
Project Reality would be good, if every server didn't lag like hell, and kick you for shitty reasons.
Most reasons you get kicked are justified. Such as soloing vehicles, being a shit pilot etc.
And I don't experience much lag at all.

That's because (at least according to your profile) you live in the eastern hemisphere of the planet, where it seems like 90% of the servers are hosted. My ping in PR servers isn't terrible, but it's not good either.

Being a shit pilot is a pretty shit kick reason. What else are you meant to do to get better at flying with someone else manning over positions? Pretend to fly a few hours a day in hopes it rubs off onto actual flight? Didn't think so.
That's just PR having a slightly elitist community.

They just tell you to go to one of those practice servers some people have up.
And, slightly might not be the right word...
Is there some kind of Facepunch Battlefield 2 server? I really want to have a game.

The other class is Special Forces.
I hope they change the bullet drop in BF3 so that you can actually use the markings on the scope.
I hope they remove recon and anything remotely related to a sniper class.

Uh, you can train in co-op or in special training servers, that there are plenty off? Being a shitty pilot is a perfectly good reason, if a guy ends up crashing the helicopter that's full of people and wasting a lot of tickets, then he should be kicked.

Yeah, lets kick people because they're not good at a game. Absolutely!
Yeah, lets kick people because they're not good at a game. Absolutely!
If they know they're shit pilots, but they still insist on flying helicopters and wasting tickets, then yeah, they should be kicked.

Being bad at a game should never be a reason for someone to be kicked, any good admin will tell you that.

It is a good reason if them being bad is causing big damage to the entire team. They can go to special training servers where they can learn to fly properly, so that they can actually do it well when they join a normal game.

That's ridiculous, if someone had a really bad day and they'd be doing damage to their team they'd get kicked too, because the admin has no way of knowing if they're bad due to inexperience.

Yeah they do, if the guy isn't able to fly a hundred meters without crashing, then he obviously can't fly. Admins don't kick if people just accidentally crash after they've already been flying for a while. It's easy to tell who knows how to fly and just accidentally crashed and someone who just can't fly.
Awesome thread title, Spet.

The rule of thumb in PR is if you can't do X, then don't do X.

Then get yelled at for not doing X.
The new NFS game is gonna be on frostbite 2 :D

there are a lot of US and UK servers as well as german, russian, swedish, and more servers
play around the time that other people are going to be on if you want perfect pings
i'm in the US and i can play on UK servers with around 130-150 ping with no gameplay loss

if you can't do X, then practice at X, then do X
vehicles have long respawn times, mainly speaking of aircraft, it can change the outcome of a game if some completely new player who hasn't taken the time to learn how to fly just hops into a helicopter and crashes it before even taking off

I'd understand it more if they would tell the guy to cut it out and he'd keep crashing.

Did the MEC commander find the Foxdonut yet?
kumbula
I'm glad BF3 wont have a commander mode. I remember in BF2 a few minutes before the game would end, if your team was winning, everyone would attempt to veto commander to get 2x points.
kumbula
90% of our games are basically yelling "kumbula" and then one of us getting shot by helicopter/sniper/APC.
Such is life in the Taliban.
