I have seen it, but what I'm more interested in seeing is some multiplayer footage, the unlocks and classes, gameplay and detruction, stuff like that. Or if anybody could tell me some facts or how destruction works, I hope it's not gonna be the same as in bc2.
I was wondering if I should pre-order the limited edition now, I have a feeling I should but I feel kinda skeptic after bad company. Can anybody post something to convince me?
Well, you can always pre-order the limited edition now, and if you find the game dissatisfying from looking at gameplays released closer to launch date, you can just cancel the order.
At least you'll reserve a limited edition, whether you decide to cancel the order or not.

They announced that literally any building you see in the game, are destructible, and that the destruction is on a whole new level compared to the BC games (brand new engine).
I'm just waiting for the Steam pre-order :(
In this case I want to get the box itself, I'm hoping it's activated on steam though...
I don't want to preorder it yet though, empty wallet with no game to play for months
Mmm military fps with a big emphasis on multiplayer. Pretty sure they are similar. But anyway they have always said they Battlefield 3 is not copying the competition but they are definantly competing which is perfectly fine.
The Elder Scrolls series and Dragon Age are both fantasy RPGs, they don't compete
Battlefield and CoD games play absolutely nothing a like
Vietnam worth $7.49 right?
I'm just waiting for the Steam pre-order :(
Why?
Get it on D2D today for $45 instead of $60.
I know this may not be the right place to ask, but do enough people play BF2 still to warrant buying the complete pack for $5 today?

Same question here. I just bought BF2 on discount, to join in with the FPS master race. Anything I should know while I'm downloading?

Dolphin diving.
There are tons of servers to choose between that are still online and especially at the evening (Europe) the most "renowned" ones are always full, so yeah, no problem in finding populated servers

And Gogo, if you're reading this, get your ass on skype :frog:
So BC2:Vietnam and BF2 CC it is!
Does BC2:Vietnam seem more PC optimized?
Just bought BF2 too. :iia:
Damnit, why is Punkbuster taking so long to install? It's been on Installing: Punkbuster Anti-Cheat (step 3 of 5) for at least 10 minutes now. Is this common?
Just preorded this for €42, retail version too.
I loved Battlefield 2 and I'm really looking forward to the next installment in the series!
it's funny how Vietnam is more expensive than BC2 :v:, although barely
[editline]8th May 2011[/editline]
btw, BF2 complete edition is only 5 bucks, so if you've been wanting to play PR you should get it now
kinda funny though, 2 of the 3 expansion packs were released free with 1.50 patch anyway

the newest medal of honor is 15 bucks, i dunno though i played the beta and didn't like it that much
If I order it on D2D, they give you a CD-key you can just enter in on Steam right? Never used D2D.

And is it the Limited Edition? It doesn't really tell you.

The fuck!?!
The only true WTF about this is your img-quote thing. Face it, you're outdated if this is an issue for you. See you in the history books.

XP is old, if you haven't upgraded by now, it's your fault.

Yeah but Windows 7 is bullshit and Vista is even worse. May as well get Mac OSX or a windows 7 emulater thing.

Whats wrong with 7?

Seems like your excuse is that you don't want to pay.
Whats wrong with 7?
I have it for my laptop and its pretty shitty, not as bad as vista (Even though they are very similar) and it seems very dumbed down. I don't mind working on it but havin g it as my main operating system is not something I could stand and I feel that by being DX 10 and 11 only, they are turning there backs on the audience at large.

I love battlefield and I think that BF3 is going to be awesome but having to put on W7 would make it more trouble then its worth.

The reason why it is W7/Vista exclusive is because DirectX9 just holds back development and means more problems down the road. Phasing out DX9=better experience over all, a quicker release, and probably less bugs.

Whats so shitty about 7? I had no problems switching from XP to it.

Not really, W7 is far better than XP, face it, your using an outdated, nearly 10 year old OS. And vista is fine, It has really improved since launch.
