They aren't all good at the same thing, so there are bound to be some conflicts in the game if some of them did one thing slightly different to how the leading team would have proffered. Plus it just makes a mess of development.

I just wish the sales for Modern Warfare would decrease too. After that leaked MW3 video, the entire world has been exploding with gossip without even being aware the Battlefield series exists. For example, I was playing BC2 once while my brother walked into my room, he asked "is that modern warfare?" I replied No. He then asked "Is that a modern warfare [i]mod[/i]?".... I mean Jesus Christ, has everyone just completely forgot that other video games exist? How far does a company have to go to stop this gimmick. :smith:

It's more of a "carbine with a scope". I wouldn't even call it a DMR unless maybe it had some serious overhauls, even then the round isn't quite suited to it. The SVD isn't actually a sniper rifle either, it's purposely designed as a DMR for squad ranged support.

I pre-ordered from D2D when it was 25% off. I didn't know D2D doesn't cancel pre-orders so I hope I'm not screwed on some of the limited edition stuff.

It's probably just going to be singleplayer.

I do like the description for the Flechette shotgun rounds "Penetrates wood, metal, enemy soldiers". I can just see someone throwing that last bit in trying to boast about it.

Oh ffs exclusive weapons and ammo? Sorry, but that's when I draw the line. The maps, I could bear with, but this is just an obvious cash grab to get you to buy at full price. I'll wait a bit, and see for myself if the game has been MW-ized. And playable on PC without errors.

The weapons are probably standard stats (the MG is probably going to be similar to the starting kit), the shotgun rounds will probably be a weird mix of buckshot and slugs (a bit more damage than buckshot with penetration, but without the accuracy of the slug rounds themselves). It will probably have little to no effect on the gameplay at all.

If you look at the pre-order poster you would see the one weapon says "Exclusive" and the other weapon says "Day one unlock" or whatever. It's rather clear you won't be able to unlock them later unless DICE sees how annoying and stupid it is and does something about it.

Highly doubt it would be singleplayer, or at least, both SP and MP should be shown or else this is really stupid.

Customer support my ass. In the response email that I got they said that "We have analyzed your problem with scientific precision and come to the conclusion that you are unable to play the game!". Well, [B]DUH?[/B] Then they sent the steps to manually uninstall my BF2 before installing the patch and also said that I must install Patch 1.41 before installing 1.5. Yeah, and I didn't tell them that I've already done all that like four times, did I? I'll try one last time, and if it doesn't work I'm going to flip out. Of the window.

Of the window.[/QUOTE] Hey joazzz, did you try the registry value thing? On vista and later BF2 has some issues with patching and it doesn't update the registry value, causing it to malfunction. I'm sure you can still find plenty of threads on google about it

What did you guys expect with the pre-order stuff and DLC? What you think EA wouldn't want to go the way Activision did? Oh they would gladly if they could go back in time, now they will try to be a bit better only because they can't beat Activision at their own game anymore.
