Open beta will make me decide if I am going to upgrade this year or not :)
I really loved the lighting in the game
cant stop jizzing
This definitely isn't consolised crap, it was live demo'd off a PC.
Oh, it's open beta. Even better.
This definitely isn't consolised crap, it was live demo'd off a PC.
I bet its the only game at E3 that will be aswell.
This definitely isn't consolised crap, it was live demo'd off a PC.
If you were expecting it to be "consolized" (seriously, stop making up words to fit your agendas you rabid PC fanboys you) you should go hang yourself right now. DICE are not idiots, the Bad Company series was more suited to consoles because that is what it was aimed at. They know that the main BF series should be aimed at PC first and foremost.
What I want to know is are we going to have fully explorable buildings in multiplayer? How would that work if we have a map that takes place in New York.
What I want to know is are we going to have fully explorable buildings in multiplayer? I'm really looking forward to BF3, and the short trailer made the game look nice and all, AND I know it's a trailer, but I'm more worried about the gameplay. Will it basically be a huge slaughterfest with loads of people running in and getting shot down etc? That's what the trailer makes it look like, but again, that was only 50 seconds.
BF2 was a pretty old game but I still recall most buildings in karkand being explorable, so don't worry about it.
What karkand was you playing?
BF2 was a pretty old game but I still recall most buildings in karkand being explorable, so don't worry about it.
Most of them weren't explorable, you could go into 1 room, rooftops, stair cases, or balconies. How would they make a tall, 20 story building explorable in a multiplayer game though.
What karkand was you playing?
Well at least you could enter the towers, and they had rooms and stuff :saddowns:
BF2 was a pretty old game but I still recall most buildings in karkand being explorable, so don't worry about it.
what, you could enter like 3 buildings in the entirety of karkand.
Open beta will make me decide if I am going to upgrade this year or not :)
I can't even play the open beta unless I upgrade since I'm still on XP. Even then, since I hate reformatting, I'd want to upgrade EVERYTHING that needs upgrading (Motherboard and OS), but if I upgrade my motherboard then that means I need a new CPU and new RAM too. Just to avoid having to back everything up, I would just buy another 1TB hard-drive too. Motherboard + CPU + HDD + RAM + OS = $767.95.
It's a decade out of date man. It's like saying "Oh, I can't play any of these new games on my Nintendo 64 it sucks"
I wasn't complaining that it can't run on XP. I'm aware that XP is out of date, that's why I'm not yelling at EA/Dice about it. Well it's still complaining, but not at DICE/EA.
Looking forward to GamerSpawns over-analytic video with Steve Petitts awesome voice
Ok, so the multiplayer trailer was obviously acted out like most trailers now a days, you dont really see 4 guys bunched up running down a street in a mulitplayer match of any decently popular shooter. I wish they would just show 30 seconds of straight gameplay then 15 of mashed up "exciting" moments. For a company thats trying to "take down MW3" they need to prove that their not as childish and repeditive with their marketing. Make it unique without becoming rampant on feeding the ADD generation that we have created. With that being said i loved the Tank footage and only hope that they stick to a more realistic approach (realistic in terms of your typical shooter) then anything. Battlefield for me is about the journey up to the battle with whatever means of transport you can get and using that transport effectively in maintaining a common goal to reach an objective. I enjoy the gameplay, especially in BC2, of using cover and playing smart to stay alive. Conquest modes have always given the best representation of Core Battlefield gameplay and i hope that they incorporate the destruction and intense feelings of battle nicely into the calmness before the sotrm in a sense. I dont wanna be spawning and fighting, i want to build to the battle like you should. Id rather have 32 players who know the objective and plan where to go and not 32 players who are spawning and trying to kill anything they see as they run down the middle of a road. I have high expectiations from this game. I was a 90's kid who was brought to the PC world via Half Life and started my shooters off with the original Call of Duty. From that point Ive found myself torn up until MW. Now im backing all my faith in DICE to prove that PC developers care about detail and gameplay above fancy explosions and overdramatic sequences. Im holding out hope for this game. Please be awesome :)
woooow awkward dick jokes wrong thread
-snip- Wrong thread. :v:

oh sweet baby jesus I shouldn't of come to this thread, the multiplayer footage gave me a boner that won't go away
Really? Nobody commented on how bad the guy walking in the title screen looked? k [editline]6th June 2011[/editline] game looks awesome btw
I am loving how pretty everything looks. Destruction, explosions, vehicles, the thermal from the UAV (compare it to real UAV footage and you will see what I mean), and everything else that I missed.
So what happened to people who bought MoH limited edition. Seems EA just lied out their ass about the beta being exclusive.
I think they said that MoH Limited Edition people get the beta early, not it being exclusive. [editline]6th June 2011[/editline] Also judging by the lighting effects in the rpg subway shot any/if there are any night maps in the game will look awesome when people start firing at each other and not just turning down the lighting like in BC2.
I'm so shocked I had to relax a little bit after watching those videos.
new video of tank battle on gametrailers. I CAME. BUCKETS!!
They better not bring in 4 player squads again. This looks some bit like Bad Company 2, although I'll get it, and try it all out for myself, they better not fuck this.
