I just can't believe this game has THAT good looking effects.

The part when the player lasered the rocket launchers, the thermal camera part, blew my mind by how badass and intense it looked.

Like a lot of people here, Battlefield was... Huge for me. It's probably the game that turned me into a PC gamer. Logged so many hours on it... Since then, DICE has never let me down with a Battlefield game. I've enjoyed every one that I've played. Now, knowing that they're returning to the real Battlefield formula (huge maps, massive player counts, loads of vehicles, etc.) any media that comes out gets me excited just because I know that it's a glimpse of this game that I wholeheartedly expect to be a complete masterpiece.

I hope there is a wide open multiplayer map like the one in the tank battle video. I've been craving for open Tank combat like that, not the type where if you enter a small town and 50 tracer darts attach to you followed by 50 rockets from building windows. A map like two big outposts for both teams and 3 smaller outposts for the capture points would be fucking great.

They took out all the bits where you walk around and smell the roses of war and left all the bits where someone dies.

loving all the new footage, gettin' pumped. Feelin' like playing some BF2. Can someone explain if there's benefit to battlefield play4free compared to BF2, or should I stick to the original for nostalgiagasm factor?

After watching multiplayer gameplay, classes probably won't be like bfc2 in terms of set up (Grenadelaunchers are not placed, but still can't confirm that it could be just any class having a assault rifle such as the M4a1 or M16a4). Hopefully it's like 2142's setup or returning to BF2 setup.
