Battlefield 3 v2 - Now with 900% more Battlefields - Games

And it would be extremely hard to implement a fighting mechanic just for the few times you fight in SP. What they did was probably the best way they could handled the close hand to hand fighting scene, instead of the actual player just punching the guy in a gamey way which could possibly break the immersion. I'm not saying I agree with quick time events, 'cause I don't, but I can understand why

Am I the only one who thinks that BC2's SP was a satirical parody of the whole modern shooter thing? I mean, people are always like," MW2 HAD RUSSIANS INVADING AMERICA BEFORE BC2!!!11111." But does anyone just think that its pretty much making fun of CoD?

Really, they should just recycle the bf1942 engine, update it to modern standards and either make some brilliantly funny game ala 1942 out of it, or revive 1942. Feels wrong to say this, but fuck singleplayer.

I hope they do a remake of BF2142 next.

I don't know, I would have rather than make BF3 PC only and something else for consoles like they did with Modern combat. Hell, consoles had Bad Company twice, they could go a year or two without a Battlefield.

Ok, so I had a little discussion with my friend regarding FPS games yesterday, and this is how it went: Me: So, you've bought BC2 yet? Friend: No? Why would I? It looks boring as hell. M: What, no, it's fantastic! F: Nah, I'll stick to Black Ops. M: Eh, BO compared to BC2 is nothing. It requires teamwork, the maps are bigger, weapons feel more realistic etc F: "Realistic" games are shit. FAST PACED ACTION IS WHERE IT'S AT! M: So you mean running around with two weapons while racking up 100 kills by yourself without even the slightest amount of teamwork or anything makes the game extremely awesome? F: Ya, CoD is awesome. Only liked BO out of all the games anyways. MW2 was okay, but BO by far cooler. Never tried the first MW. By this point I was starting to get worried. M: Come one, you like BF2 though! F: Hah, no, I only played it because it was on sale and I had nothing else to do. Boring realistic shit as well. Took like 2 minutes to find an enemy. And you can choose spawnpoints which is incredibly unfair for the others. My rage started to boil up, but I kept my cool. M: Seriously? What about BF1942, we played that everyday when it was released! F: Ya, because I didn't know of any other games. M: Ok, but you liked it? F: Ya, but now it's shit!
