The bad hit detection usually was caused by bad net-code, not the engine itself.

and yes it's Rush, if you'd pay attention to any of the gameplay videos you'd see the red diamond markers on the HUD and above the minimap
Best multiplayer 2011/12/13.
Singleplayer will be Skyrim.
This is going to be fun. I'm going to need a huge upgrade, or just build a whole new PC for Battlefield 3 and other games coming out this year.
My wallet will not thank me.

Indeed. I love the P90. I think it has to do with Stargate. Plus it was my best weapon im CS:S when I played years ago.

I hope you're not saying that because the graphics look similar, or because they're playing Rush mode. Just wait for some multiplayer footage of big maps with jets and tanks with some conquest.

I'll reinstall 2142 if there's a digital download version so I don't have to buy it again, I doubt I'll find my disks.
I didn't get to play it for long, EA decided to be a dick and break my account a little time after that, where my password wouldn't work and it would tell me no account exists by that name, and when I went to register back as my name (just to see what it would do), it would tell me that account already existed. Yay. Go back to sign in, "this account does not exist", and it affected all of my games.

it apparently fixed itself eventually, BC2 works fine for me and I can now log back into BF2.

thank god, now I can recover if I survive a battle instead of limping to the next way point only to catch a stray bullet and respawn back where I started running from
