I wonder could i run bf3
You know the answer. 5870 is still plenty strong.
Uhh.. the P90 model broke, the ammo magazine is clipping through the whole gun. Heh, even DICE makes mistakes.
How can I aim that without sights?
Huh, you're right that P90 doesn't have any sights on it. Maybe it phased through like the magazine. lmao
This is just a guess, if they're bringing FN P90 into the game's multiplayer (maybe along with a playable French Faction) there might be others to pair off with it (or just a none faction side unlock). Best for the Russians is the PP19 Bizon or PP2000, PLR either Bizon (doesn't make sense to me, but westernly viewed as) or PPSH41. Americans is just unknown hence they're marines, not any smg from their arsenal can pair up. (MP7a1 is exclusive to Naval Branch only, P90 is only CIA (Exterior Operations)usage.) Yes I know it's just a game.
How can I aim that without sights?
It's clearly an unfinished model, and like a few of the early screenshots is missing any attachments.
It's clearly an unfinished model, and like a few of the early screenshots is missing any attachments.
I know it's a WIP, just joking around. Or HK MP5 with duel mags/jungle style. For balance (capacity wise) other smgs jams around half way.
Has this been posted yet? I'm dying for info about jets, 40% of my playtime in BF2 was flying.
Doing my part for the community.

80% of my playtime in BF2 was shooting people out of AA pods
Theoretically, i think you should be able to dual-wield everything, but it would aim terrible. Like, you WOULD be able to hold 2 RPG's at the same time, right? Not aim very well, but it would be possible. They should incorporate shit like this :v:
I'm nervous as all hell for a STEAM preorder.
80% of my playtime in BF2 was shooting people out of AA pods
95% of my playtime in BF2 was shooting people. The last 5% was waiting for a ride to get to the shooting. Now that we mention it, I wonder if that 200-man BF2 server is back up yet...
I'm nervous as all hell for a STEAM preorder.
There won't be one.
Probably some info that's already known by now, but for the ones that missed it: here are some extracts from a dutch site that played bf3 at e3: (source: http://tweakers.net/reviews/2166/e3-battlefield-3.html) (...) because one thing is pretty obvious: this year, cod is in the shadows of bf3, when it comes to the attention bf3 gets. If that means bf3 will be better than cod, we have to wait, because that depends for the most part of the multiplayer. We've got a little taste of this at EA, in the form off a game against bots. (bots available?) We played a game of rush, in Paris. The interesting part of that map is that the fight begins in a wide, open area, but ends in the narrow hallways of a metro station. A lot of variation, even in one game. Before we started, DICE took the time to inform us about 2 new important features: firstly, the classes Assault and Medic are somewhat joined. DICE noticed the players who had the most need for support of medics are soldiers at the front lines, so they received a medkit. The second feature is that we're able to use the bipods of heavier weapons. The mission in Paris was called Operation Metro; the mission started in the wide, open area, with one vehicle, an apc. Further into the game, the fight moved itself inside of that metro. The surroundings went dark, and here the Engineer's new feature, a flashlight mounted onto his weapon, is quite handy: it can blind enemies and help progress your team. Another new thing is that you now get points for supressing enemies, which makes it more credible to operate as a team, instead of everybody hunting for kills/points. They ofcourse tested it on the pc, and they added you can go instant prone with one key. I hope the translation doesn't suck too hard..
So I downloaded Origin so I could download/play BF2142. Good news guys, unlike Steam, you can launch the game just fine without starting up Origin first. Therefore, you'll only need it to install/manage the game and then you can probably forget about it.
wow was playing some BF2, playing Road to Jalalabad as USMC, we win, playing as MEC and we're dominating them with the tanks they don't even have one point yet, this is going on for around 20 minutes, and some of the admins of the server are on the other team i'm in the one of the tanks and am completely dominating them, i have like 20+ kills by this point and suddenly i get kicked because my "ping was too high" even though it was like 100 gotta love admins
There won't be one.
Why is that? Do you have any proof?
Theoretically, i think you should be able to dual-wield everything, but it would aim terrible. Like, you WOULD be able to hold 2 RPG's at the same time, right?
I wonder could i run bf3
"hey guys look at my awesome computer" No-one cares if your parents spend like £800 on a pc for you stop showing off :) Anyway i was watching that E3 gameplay footage and it this game looks insane.
I think they're picking easy questions. [editline]9th June 2011[/editline] I've been repeatedly pasting "Are all maps going to support 64 players, or are there going to be maps that require lower player counts?" courtesy of Kurodragon [editline]9th June 2011[/editline] This suppression stuff sounds like a great idea. Nobody ever uses suppression fire in online shooters. I love the idea of covering a medic as he revives by using suppressing fire.
I agree, no one has really implemented a way to actually make a player being shot at not want to move or engage because of that. Purely because...well its a game, you dont really feel any danger of being shot at, and theres not really any disadvantage to attempt to pop up and shoot back. I really like the supression idea and how they are using it.
Oh hey guys I wonder if I can run BF3 on my PC? Oh wait I can't... At all. That's why I'm going to upgrade to: Windows 7 64-bit - $130 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115224) Intel Core i7-960 Bloomfield - $280 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115224) G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 - $70 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231225) ASUS Sabertooth X58 - $200 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131665) WD Caviar Black 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s - $90 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136533) Total price - About $770. (The only reason I'm getting another 1TB HDD is because I hate reformatting. If I just get another HDD I don't have to back anything up) I KNOW this will be able to run it well, the only thing that concerns me is that I would still be on a ATI 5770, which I'm unsure of how well it will run BF3, but seeing as my current computer can somehow run BC2 at about 40 - 60 FPS on highest settings at 1680x1050 I'm going to assume I should be able to play BF3 on low at least, but I'm guessing it's more in the medium to high area considering at some point they said "If you can run BC2 you should be able to run BF3" (Although I don't remember where someone said this so it may not actually be true but whatever).
No because then the weapons uses twist too badly, dual wielded RPGs would be inaccurate but then that'd lead to people using them in close quatars would be bloody annoying.
Yeah. I was tired and had a slight hangover v:v:v
why are you telling us that you're upgrading no one cares, this is the thread for BF3, not for your PC
I love how much this thread exploded after E3.
Why can't I stop watching this... it's...it's beautiful.
so they said there were going to be 256 player maps, right? That's 32 squads of 4 per team. I imagine squad size will increase as the levels do?
so they said there were going to be 256 player maps, right? That's 32 squads of 4 per team. I imagine squad size will increase as the levels do?
No. 64 player maps.
No. 64 player maps.
oh, alright much more manageable. Thought it said 256 or at least 128 on some trailer.
why are you telling us that you're upgrading no one cares, this is the thread for BF3, not for your PC
I was more just mocking the constant people that come in here with high spec computers that go "I wonder if I can run this" when obviously a computer of that level will be able to run it. My post also had a question relating to BF3 about how well it will run with said upgrade and a 5770 which the 5 dumb ratings seemed to ignore. It's no different from me coming in here in a few months and saying "Hey can I run this with these specs?".
