I'm hoping for Squad Deathmatch... I loved that shit, even though it was very prominent in NA servers. Oh by the way, I remember that during E3 they mentioned coop campaigns.
Apparently it is an "extensive coop campaign". Lead Coop Designer is the guy who made Strike at Karkand for BF2 :buddy:

Am I the only one who kinda prefers Rush to Conquest? Rush reminds me of Quake Wars a lot, which does an [i]excellent[/i] job at keeping players focused on an objective instead of Conquest (especially BF2) where people just float around the map looking for unguarded flags to cap Conquest can be awesome but only rarely on public servers, you need a good team for that Rush works pretty well even with pubbies

Other than that, on the right circumstances rush really is much more fun, there's alot more action with the team cramped together for a single objective.
Haha oh my god Origin is so shit, it won't even let me install it on a secondary hard drive please tell me you can choose the game install locations because otherwise this is so terrible I can't even begin to comprehend it

Most of the time I joined servers I couldn't hit enemies because of some kind of weird hit detection error, including the knife. It also throws you out of the game and into the menu at times.

do you guys not realize that there is already TDM in BC2? in fact i think the mode is even called Squad Deathmatch or whatever stop complaining about it, if you don't like it then don't play it, i really can't fucking believe people are getting mad that the devs are giving them more options and ways to play the game

To jump an ~30cm gap (high or low - i cant tell) the legs come to a near 90degree angle to the pavement. If you jump like that, i... well i'd be pretty fucking impressed

ya even FarCry 2 had animations for getting into vehicles in multiplayer, and we all know how terrible the multiplayer was

Well, things can always change; dragging in MP when from no to maybe it seems, no reason vehicle enter/exit animations can't as well.
Walked into Game today and assked to preorder BF3. The guy on the till questioned whether I wanted it to preorder it for the PS3 or 360. I told him PC. A look of puzzlement appeared on the cashier's face, so he flicked through his catalogue and to his surprise - it was coming out for the PC. He took my card details and I was given my preorder, he then asked what the difference would be for the PC and consoles (something he should know really) I gave him one sentence before I left: "24 max players for consoles, 64 max for PC." Look what consoles have done to the shops these days.... :smith:
