I always get odd looks when I ask for PC games in GameStop.
Thats bollocks, just look at Halo Reach, they pulled it off fine.
Thats because the Halo games have had that in their games since the very first one. The gameplay has always been built to allow it. Not to mention battlefield and halo are vastly different games in their own right.
I like that there's team death match because now whenever someone is being a fag about doing objectives they can just be told to fuck off to TDM.

It would be awesome if Aircraft carriers or something like that were like Titans in 2142.
You don't have to be a gaming enthusiast to run the cash register
It certainly helps though. I quite like having conversations with the people at the register. :buddy:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLHYLIl-q6s Watch the first 30 seconds and pay attention to the legs flying in front of the camera for the jumping animation. To jump an ~30cm gap (high or low - i cant tell) the legs come to a near 90degree angle to the pavement. If you jump like that, i... well i'd be pretty fucking impressed
Wait just stop, stop for one fucking second. When he looked down....... did I actually see his feet, his god damn fucking feat. Oh my fucking god FULL BODY AWARNESS, JIZZ EVERY FUCKEN WHERE.
feet?
feet.
Did i see a Flashlight in that video? Awesome.
Did i see a Flashlight in that video? Awesome.
They've said Engies' get Flashlights.
They've said Engies' get Flashlights.
I hope there are some dark maps then :v:
Aww, it's 70 dollars on the origin store, cheaper to buy from g2play.
I hope there are some dark maps then :v:
In indoor areas you can shoot out the lights to make it dark. Also I heard that the flashlights have blinding effects if shone in the enemies eyes, I am unsure or how effective this is though.

I was at E3 and got the opportunity to play the pre alpha demo of BF3. Oh my god... everything was so smooth with animations, we were put into squads of four on pc's. Our other teammates were bots and the enemys were bots as well, it was kind of hard to tell that our teammates were even bots the way they were moving. I had the chance to shake hands with one of the developers, Lars Gustavsson, I also asked him if the option to play the role as commander would be coming back, he said yes but it won't be like commander in BF2 we all know and love. We all got dogtags with our names on them. I'll post some pictures later of the EA area this week possibly when I leave Los Angeles. Some cool things I noticed... when you play support and hand out ammo, instead of selecting it and then having to throw it, you just throw it when you hit 3. When you put a LMG on a bipod you don't have to aim down the sight so it feels like one of the stationary mg's in BF2 except with aiming and being able to mount it anywhere. The lighting was gourgeous when we exited the subway, I cannot get over how smooth the animations are and how you can look down and see your legs, I haven't seen my legs in a game since FEAR. There's a health % meter in the corner, it's just a number though. I didn't notice a kill cam.

From what I've read earlier in this thread I thought bots and commanders wouldn't be included in BF3. Thanks for clearing it up!
heh, and people were bitching that there were no bots

Awesome, commanders. I've missed them.
It certainly helps though. I quite like having conversations with the people at the register. :buddy:
When I bought The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass about a month after release me and the guy behind the till had a small chat about TLoZ series. Was pretty cool. Same thing happened when I went and bought Portal 2, me and the guy had a talk about Portal and what Portal 2 did differently (he had already played it, and was dying to tell me things he knew would spoil the game, I thank him for his restraint).
