So this is why you forced yourself into buying Homefront.
Ugh, homefront wasn't as bad as people say.
It was mildly entertaining but the sniper rifles pissed me off. I heard they nerfed those though.
That is pretty classy.
Eh, it is nice to say and all, but I personally think that MW3 looks like a piece of shit. It's not because of some sort of fanboyism either. I just legitly think the game looks horrible, especially when it is at 60 dollar price point. So when people go "omg you guys they're both going to be AMAZING <(','<) let's all rejoice" I've got to shake my head.
I think BF3 looks much better but I will probably buy both because again, gameplay wise, they are pretty damn different. Sometimes I feel like Battlefield, and sometimes I feel like spraying down 5 dudes in a hallway without aiming down my sights as RC car explosives and minigun turrets light up the map.

Battlefield is more focused on being credible than it is realistic. COD really is more focused on very fast paced close quarters combat with little to no team play whereas battlefield encourages team play on large scale maps with emphasis on vehicle combat. Bogging it down to just multiplayer focused modern setting shooter is hardly an in-depth explanation thats just taking the games at face value before even playing it.
I honestly haven't played a CoD since 4, and back then it was trying to be extrememly realistic. It was still quite over the top but they were SAYING that. I don't know if that's changed.

The thermite exploding in the MW3 gameplay was just hilariously bad.
Bad Company 2 I think is a classic. I reckon in a few years we'll think back at how great Bad Company 2 was the same way we look back at BF2 and 1942 now. I've put about 300hrs into the game and unlocked everything for all the classes except recon. And I haven't touched Recon until just a week or so ago. Does anyone have any good tips for a good team playing recon? I've been trying out the SVU with 4x scope and C4. And I think I've been doing a fairly good job at spotting enemies and sneaking up on tanks. For my other spec I chose Spotting scope or whatever it is called. It's much easier for me to point at targets for my teammates. [editline]11th June 2011[/editline] Oh shit wrong topic

I would say you're wrong.
Hahahaa no. All BC2 was is a smokescreen
It was also a conduit for them to make their graphics goddamn awesome before moving back to core battlefield. If it wasn't for the practice from their development BF3 would be looking MUCH worse.
Hahahaa no. All BC2 was is a smokescreen
Well, there's typically smoke on a battlefield.
EA's servers are much better than steams.

But that was back when call of duty was good :sigh:
EA's servers are much better than steams.
Thats beacuse hardly anyone uses EADM/Orgin
Does Origin do pre-loading? I'd rather buy it off Steam but that free expansion pack is making it a touch choice.

I also noticed that the sniper rifle at the end of the video turned into what looks like a P90 when the player was killed by the frag. Nice edit job DICE.
Woah I did not notice DICE edited the ending.
Judging by the ammo count of the weapon the guy drops when he gets blown up I think he was carrying a m249
Yeah I think you're right.
Really digging the class setups, never liked medics with LMG's.
Ugh, new class system sounds a bit dumb to me. Wait shit nevermind, misunderstood the video.
Ugh, new class system sounds a bit dumb to me. Wait shit nevermind, misunderstood the video.
The classes are pretty much the 2142 classes.
The classes are pretty much the 2142 classes.
Yeah I know, misheard some shit
Which is good. Now every assault doesn't run around with a grenade launcher hopefully.
