I only wish for a newer and better installments of Half-life and Team Fortress (3&3) but obviously it's just some stupid wishful thinking. :saddowns:
Team Fortress 3 will not happen for some time. Look at how actively they are still developing TF2. That will continue to evolve for some time before they ever consider a TF3.
this so much almost nobody at my school plays games and the ones who do only play black ops.
the guys who're playing CE is a small underground group of gamers with good taste

Even in 5 years TF2 might still look good, because it's artstyle doesn't demand incredible and detailed graphics.
Hope for Battlefront 3, but i am expecting to be disapointed yet again.
Hope for Battlefront 3, but i am expecting to be disapointed yet again.
Dont ever remind me of how good Battlefornt 2 was.
I don't see why Microsoft did not allow Steamworks integration with the Xbox 360, especially considering how Ubisoft integrated Uplay and EA have their own network service for multiple games on the platform.
I don't see why Microsoft did not allow Steamworks integration with the Xbox 360, especially considering how Ubisoft integrated Uplay and EA have their own network service for multiple games on the platform.
wasn't that because MS charges for every update, and part of steamworks was to easily push out free updates?
especially considering how Ubisoft integrated Uplay and EA have their own network service for multiple games on the platform.

Uh no that's because Xbox Live is the only supported network system for the 360, if you use anything else Microsoft would reject your game
uh
I don't see why Microsoft did not allow Steamworks integration with the Xbox 360, especially considering how Ubisoft integrated Uplay and EA have their own network service for multiple games on the platform.
It's because Microsoft DOES NOT want you playing on their network with anything other than an XBox 360, and getting special treatment is difficult. Everyone I know (I don't know that many people so take this with a grain of salt) bought a 360 because their friends had one and they want to play together. If Microsoft allowed any publisher to allow cross-platform gaming, the only major reason to buy a 360, that I know of, would vanish. Microsoft will come around, but it will be a while. They're very fond of creating and maintaining strangleholds on their customers. It will change only when the market demands it. Valve have put their considerable weight behind interoperability, and I dearly hope Steam becomes a first-class application for the PS3.
Knowing MS, it will cost 10 dollars/800MS points while the PS3 and PC get it for free.
Except Xbox DLC can be free.
Because theres no such thing as Games For Windows Live.
I was talking consoles, but point taken.
I hope its something special for portal
cool have fun paying for DLC while the superior PC master race gets it for free
cool have fun paying for DLC while the superior PC master race gets it for free
PS3 gets it free
I wouldn't mind halo HD, the game was fine, it was the community I despised.
cool have fun paying for DLC while the superior PC master race gets it for free
First DLC has been confirmed to be free for all platforms. Dick.
First DLC has been confirmed to be free for all platforms. Dick.
First. As in, not the second. Or the third.
God, I can't wait for info on the DLC for Portal 2. It should be interesting to see how the Halo CE remake will turn out too (if there is one). There was a rumor going around that it was being remade on the Reach engine. :q:
all my money
valve might partner up with microsoft and xbox will get the DLC first a la CoD getting DLC first
There was a rumor going around that it was being remade on the Reach engine. :q:
The Rumor said it was going to be on another engine
when does the E3 start?
cool have fun paying for DLC while the superior PC master race gets it for free
i'd rather pay 10 bucks for some good dlc instead of the mediocre bs like "the passing" that valve put out.
when does the E3 start?
The 7th-9th, but sometimes they do pre-E3 press stuff. So expect E3 related stuff 1-2 days before E3 officially starts.
The Rumor said it was going to be on another engine
I hope they do remake it. I want to see what it would be like with all the Retcons/changes (E.g marine armour)
I hope they do remake it. I want to see what it would be like with all the Retcons/changes (E.g marine armour)
seeing Halo 1 remade on a new engine would be epic.
I actually can't wait for E3
valve might partner up with microsoft and xbox will get the DLC first a la CoD getting DLC first
Why would you even think OF SUCH TERRIBLE THINGS
Team Fortress 3 will not happen for some time. Look at how actively they are still developing TF2. Development of some sort was apparent when they introduced new mechanics and clever gimmicks through the class updates, after that it hasn't been so interesting anymore, just more hats for more money plus hell of a lot of promotional shit and what-not.
valve might partner up with microsoft and xbox will get the DLC first a la CoD getting DLC first
Or (just a weird thought here) they could put it up first on the distribution platform that they OWN AND GENERATE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FROM. [editline];[/editline]
Just wait till the Saxxy awards are over
And then we'll get a bunch of new weapons with +15% [x] and -15% [y].
