Is she biting her lip? Is she awkwardly holding her lips open enough to expose her teeth?
I think her mouth is just open a little, like she's just not holding it shut.
It looks normal but when you think about how her teeth are together yet her lips are apart and her jaw isn't clenched and ahghhahghagah.
Relax your lips completely and just keep your jaw closed. That's what your mouth will look like. Real lips have a tendency to be a bit more "full" though so there's that.

I'd recommend your one, I really like it. (Shizune's portrayed really well in it)
As for other fanfics, there are a few good ones out there. Hanako has Sisterhood as already mentioned, and Reconciliation. Shizune has Weekend at Hisaos, Braving the Storm (doomish). There's a pretty good Rin neutral ending one too, Direction. There are a load of great short ones (like Reunion for Shizune) too.
Not that I'm obsessed, I just like reading and am totally broke, so fanfics for things are a great source of free reading.
The best fanfiction is "Hisaos sex change".

Yes it may be cute to see Hanako and Hisao after the events of the VN, but it will just feel... Unofficial, I guess, like it never happened because the original writer didn't write it, and it was never approved by 4leaf as canon.

The problem is actually the opposite! My Java version is too recent, apparently! The folder it looks for is 'jre6' and the latest java installs in 'jre7'. I fixed it by just copying the jre7 folder and renaming it.
