I just finished my first route, Rin's. Jeez, how are the other girls going to top her? The story was wonderful, the lines were funny, and the good ending melted my heart. No matter what route I take next, I'll always be thinking of her now. Fuck.

Generic advice, but I'll just put it up now for if you'd like. Don't do Lilly + Hanako back to back, as their stories share a lot of points. Also, loads of people like saying do Lilly last, as hers gives the most closure so to speak. Shizune's route gets a lot of flack, but I enjoy it, it's not exactly a romance route, but develops the characters a lot. It also stops her from looking like a bitch in the other routes. :v:
You got one of the best routes first though, good choice.

The Misha route is by far the best. Shizune fucks off and you can finally be together, you just don't see that part.

The other arcs have their own strong points. I'd say Shizune's and Lilly's have the most closure though.
i finally beat all routes, gotta say rin's the best followed very closely by lilly. hanako was pretty good as well, and emi's was a nice little story. shizune's route was kind of boring, not much happened, but the closure was good
It's good to see so many people with high opinions of Rin's route, so many people I know are quick to dismiss it as 3deep5u.

Was thinking of Persona when I was posting, funnily enough. Such a good series of games/anime.
Honestly though, for some reason I'd prefer to have a KS animated series in Japanese, with subs. It just makes more sense in my head, but it'd be a technical nightmare for organising good VAs and such so I'd settle for regular English.

Gotta agree, I usually recommend those routes for last to friends/people for closure, they really do wrap up the experience quite nicely.
I'm glad that I ended up going Rin, Hanako, Emi, Lilly and Shizune on my first run, still feels like a good order to do things, for me at least.
Personally I feel like the best order is Emi, Hanako, Rin, Lilly, Shizune. A lot of people get Emi on their first playthrough, and Shizune's good ending makes a nice bookend on the game as a whole, even if the writing for her route is a little slipshod sometimes.

I don't have a reason for that order. That's the order I did my first time playing, and switching anything around makes everything feel wrong.
Kanji > Rin > Lilly > Hanako > Lemonbutt = Shizune
for reference, the order I played the routes in was hanako > rin > shizune > lilly > lemonbutt

I have to say, I haven't played Hanako's route yet, but I fucking love how she looks with that hat.

I figured that was a guy when i saw the photo, his face is too masculine to dress up as a woman imo.
He doesn't pull off the character well, but i'd be surprised to find someone who could. hanako isn't the type of character who would look good once taken out of the games art-style.
