I've actually been playing another visual novel (Kara no Shoujo) recently and I think I see what I've seen a number of people saying about the story of this one. The story in Kara no Shoujo seems like it's written a lot better to me. Then again that one seems a lot more extreme in basically every regard except amount of disabled people.

I was actually talking to someone about this yesterday. We both assumed that by comfort her it meant like a human pillow or something.

I was doing Shizune's route for Misha anyway (before I knew) so I had my fingers crossed

I remember thinking the "Comfort me" seemed very suspicious, but at that time I felt just had to press on to see what became of it.
I figured something was fishy in the intro cinematic itself with Misha standing behind on the roof and closing the door. That wasn't a "I'm happy for them" smile, especially given that change to a frown.
[sp]I puzzled it together when she cut her hair. Since cutting your hair in Japan is a sign of a new beginning, wanting to forget something bad. Usually a heartbreak.[/sp]
So obviously I chose the "comfort Misha" option but despite my brilliant conclusions so far [sp]I could never in my life have foreseen that "comfort" equals "give her the dick".[/sp]

A Misha route would have worked as a "doomed to bad end" route that only went to chapter 2 or something, if not just to explore the possibility
Why do you think it'd have to be doomed to end badly? Unless I didn't pay enough attention to Misha's route I think you could work that one out.
