It has a dedicated fanbase and leaves an impression on the reader, that's my opinion on why discussion isn't dead yet.
I started playing the game thinking it was going to be awful as fuck, because I am a masochist when it comes to these kinds of games and with a hatred of practically anything that has any sort of oriental background (except my nice neighbors, who are from the Philippines). I think my first post here was a quip about the Japanese, how the anime culture came to be, and nuclear fire, so you get a nice idea of how far my views and ignorance went and all.
If my views about the Asian/Japanese cultures and subcultures and everything was my hand, this game would've bent it backwards until the cartilage at the end of my arm was popping out of my wrist using only its index finger.
And that's why I think this game is still talked about now.

Wow. I was in the first thread when the game first came out. Sufficed to say (even though it's been repeated many of times) I'm surprised it's still here! Considering all the flak it got in the beginning (PUT IT IN VN THRED LOL) I'm surprised it's on the version it is. Anyways, I almost freaked out yesterday. Was interested in playing KS again but I forgot where i put my save from my last OS install. Searched like hell for them for an hour and a half. Finally found them, placed them in the place where things of that stature are placed, and started the game.

The biggest downside with anime. Without colors and a distinguishable hairstyle, the characters all have a tendency to bleed together and look the same.
