The singleplayer was great, but the online was dead on 360. Don't know about PC.
I played it online the other day with ~50 other people in one game on the 360.
anybody kind enough to buy it for me?
It's basically Battlefield 2, except with better singleplayer, worse multiplayer, and a few things like UAVs. It's worth $3. Hell, it's worth $5.

Also IMO most of the maps are absolutely awful and even with a full server there's some maps that are so enormous that it seems like nothings really ever happening unless you get in a helicopter.
I played it on console when it came out.
I never tried the multiplayer but the SP really irritated me. The respawning bad guys annoyed the hell out of me and the driving controls sucked.

Which is why I only played the singleplayer. Which was actually pretty good, especially for a Battlefield clone. If they make a sequel, I'd buy it.
It's worth the $3 whether you end up liking it or not. You can't even buy lunch with $3

Homefront is the sequel.
I hated this. I got into the SP game, but felt cheated by the time I finished the game. It was far too linear, and had absolutely no replay value for me. The online component was like BF2142, but with 10x the spawn camping and a prototypical killstreak system. Fuck this game.

I buy lunch every weekday for $2.61, tax included. You just have to learn to be frugal.
I would be eternally grateful to anyone with the $3 to gift this game. I have the money but no way to purchase it until tomorrow when it will be too late.
I'll like to try this game too. Can anyone gift me this?
I think you should grab Battlefield 2142 instead
Really, just buy BF2. I found FFOW to be sort of fun but sort of dogshit. Flying helis was the only really fun part.
It's a decent game, definitely worth it at the current price
I paid 5 euro for the collectors edition

This game is great fun, the multiplayer is enjoyable and the single player missions are fun.
I don't understand why people hate it..
Redownloaded it earlier (fucking forgot it was 12GB god damn), played the MP again and realised it's all good fun.
i am getting right now, anyone wanna play? pm with your steam name if you want to .. :lsd:
Thinking about getting it, but the steam store seems to be shitting it self.

I loved the game. Fuck the haters.
Yes it is quite good, the droids and stationary guns you get on later levels are great fun
For $3, the Single-Player experience is brilliant.
Looks like I bought it just in time.
