Did you unrar and put into the right spot? Also I very much like the torch configuration, cept if you are travelling back the cart does not have enough momentum to go up the slope.

Also, what's wrong with using XP and IE? I used to have XP, but now I have Win7, and the only reason I'm using Chrome on FP is because a few months ago I had problems with FP on IE, so I used Chrome for a month, and now I am more comfort with Chrome on FP.

guys, one the accelerator rails are too far apart, and 2: somebody needs to do something to keep creepers from spawning in minecarts. And can we build towns along the way?

The additions anthophiobian did didn't have redstone lighting the accelerators.

It would be nice if the tracks were raised up 2 blocks or had fences along the way so no damn sheep or anything could get onto them. Towns along the way could work. If you wanted to build a railway segment running through a town you could. Just dont take forever doing it.
