You unlock sirens/lightbars/front lights for the vehicles by doing LTL, sucks, but that's how it works now. All other vehicle parts are just by progressing and doing contacts. also you can only change the siren on enforcer only cars.

I bought that Crown Vic look-alike for 15k (With the money I 'confiscated') Is there a way to slap on lights or will I have to wait to unlock the Cruiser version?

The customized objects have always been crappy resolution, to ensure they are transfered fast and dont eat so much of the server, I would have preferred an option to get a highres version, its not like making a low res one costs anythign at all.

And i always get the shitty defense tasks. (You know, the ones where you gotta kill him X amount of times or keep him from the objective for X amount of minutes, but if you die [b]only once[/b] he gets enough time to complete the objective and be halfway to the next one by the time you respawn.)
