Why do people QQ about 1v1? I've only ever done one 1v1. It's not hard at all to joni a group. Press U and just join a group or turn on your LFG. Longest I've had to wait is like 10 mins, easy enough to pass the time just by checking out weapons to buy etc.

All the real fun to be had is in like 4v4 and up.

Or a 2v2 where they keep coming on one at a time and you keep arresting them. LL Weapons need a boost though. There is a major disadvantage to using them, the high possibility that there could be another enemy nearby.

If you're good with them then you can easily get both of those shots in around a second. It's an amazing combo if used right. Just need to get my ass to Harmon so I can get that pistol. @ Mr.Someguy I believe LTL weapons should stay as they are. It shouldn't be easy arresting people, it SHOULD be a challenge. If you can't handle it, use lethal weapons then.

Can somebody show me a guide to unlock lights? I need grill lights. I'm running an Umbrella Tactical Response vehicle, and lightbars don't look good.

I think the first bits and bobs for vehicles are unlocked at cop rank 3. Also it helps if you get in a group with other LTL users and all concentrate your fire. When I ran with at least other people the chance of me arresting dudes went up about 80%

I still can't play because of animation/prop crashes. I've reported every one of them, reinstalled twice, updated punkbuster, made sure all my drivers are up to date. So far I'm the only one in my clan that has these issues. Searching their forum showed similar problems existing over two months ago. I think I might be stuck unable to play for a good bit.

Im about halfwy done with my quest for a Pioneer. As Im saving all the money, Im still using the default gun.

The STAR is one of the best for CQB. It's good at CQB without sacrificing ability to engage at Medium Range. [editline]8th May 2011[/editline] The only thing better are SMGs and Shotguns, but they can [I]only[/I] do CQB.

is there a list of which contacts unlock which car peices? and characters onscreen have a weird green glow. heres a picture. JG was buggy for me. I would fire a shot, then a full second would happen, and finally the pellets would reach their targets.

I wish they would remove the seemingly random pause that non-automatic weapons get. It's extremely annoying. It affected my performance with the Joker Carbine and it's affecting it with the OBIR. I hate being killed just because my OBIR randomly decided it was going to go on break.

If anyone is having those compression issues that make anything close to black all fucked up looking, there's a fix. Go into your APB Reloaded\APBGame\Config folder, open the APBCompat.cfg file, find any "bCompressTextures" lines and change its value from true to false. There should be about 3 of those lines. That worked for me and a friend of mine.

Oh god, I've been waiting forever to get into the beta, yet no luck. A friend of mine signed up for the beta just a few days ago and got into beta the day straight after. Should've made people who was in the first APB able to play in the beta after they recovered their old account. What the hell is going on.. :saddowns:
