Sure, more people will play it, but will it be APB or yet-another-mmo? And why didn't they add permanent straight away? Testing? They already had closed beta.

Driving isn't hard, the starter cars are fine and taxis are good too. Only car that is kinda shit is the kind that looks like a duke from GTA IV, can't remember the real name.

I want to get that Dolton Broadwing or however the name is.

I wouldn't mind if they went for simulator style or completely arcade style, but it's neither and pretty hard to get used to completely.

Even if it sold a million copies (it sold 10,000 FYI) it would have been a profit loss for the developer who had already put over 100 million dollars into the project. Reading some of the developers post-mortems you can tell the game was not only dead on arrival, but about 6 months before it came out people were already pulling out of the project and getting ready for a failure. Bad investing plus awful management was what killed RTW.

This game is fun. It's hard to kill people sometimes, but the lag when driving is awesome. Twice now I've rammed into enemies and crushed them due to not accounting for it. The only thing that sucks is I disconnect every 15-20 minutes and the game refuses to log in unless I reset my modom.
