Why do they even allow you to wear a suit jacket over a hoodie?
That's what the Fashion Police is for.
When you're above notoriety 2 or 3, you are eligible for opposed missions. Below that, any missions you get will have no chance of opposition.
Seriously? I'm pretty sure Prestige/Notoriety 0-1 players still get missions, the only thing against their success is heavily reduced rewards from what they could get at say level 2 or 3.

You still get the do-this, do-that missions though.

N0 - No enforcers dispatched, increase rewards (truly less though becuase you get more the more people you are against.) N2 - Normal rewards, Enforcers Dispatched N3 - Increased Rewards, Enforcers Dispatched N4 - Even more increase rewards, Stronger Enforcers Dispatched N5 - Kill everyone, everyone kill you blah blah blah
Is west coast server 1 or 2 for NA?
Best vehicle in the game is the gigantic trash truck thing. I was parked up against a wall earlier when one hit me full speed in the rear bumper. I exploded the second of impact.
I just started playing. I'm confused as fuck. I think I should have stayed in the Tutorial area longer. How do I change clothes?
Can't play the game without it lagging terribly bad as I look around or move around, anybody know anything that might help?

I just played 4 hours, doing only 2 dispatches. Witnessing is so much more fun.
i just tried out the ntec after using SMGs and the joker rifle most of my game... the ntec is just so much better... :( anywho, witnessing is a ton more fun, but its extemely hard to find people to witness even on those all crim servers.
Is there some kind of guide somewhere? I've got a lot figured out but there's still a lot of stuff I don't understand. Also, how long should I say in the tutorial area?
FAQ Q: Where can I change clothes? A: Social district, one of the clothing shops. Q: Where can I change clothes? A: Social district, one of the clothing shops. Q: Where can I change clothes? A: bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVA 3072 There's also this thing with the compression and the graphics limits, but I'm too lazy to look for it in the APB forums. Might make a lil' tut later. [editline]29th May 2011[/editline] Okay, 32 bit constraint removal: 1. Open up APB Reloaded/APBGame/Config/APBCompat. 2. Scroll down to the bottom, you'll find [AppHWConstraintsBucket3] and some shit underneath. 3. Copy everything under [AppHWConstraintsBucket3] and paste it OVER the contents of these "constraint buckets": [AppHWConstraintsBucket2] and [AppHWConstraintsBucket1](they're above this one). There's a lot of weird stuff and numbers under them, you have to replace it all with the compression-free settings of the third bucket. So in the end all of the three buckets should look the same, except the numbers. This is all probably confusing and shit, I'll try to edit the unclear parts. Also, using the launcher will reset everything to standard, you might want to keep a copy of all these. If you MUST use the launcher, do all of this after everything was checked and updated everytime before starting the game itself, but after you start the launcher. NOTE: This will reduce your performance, probably. But extra graphics are worth it.
Put a fan next to your computer when doing the 3 GB switch.
Pimpin my ride and dude. Need more primitives. [editline]29th May 2011[/editline] Tried to do the OMF theme in the editor, but it was too long. Then I did the part that starts at 2:43
I just made Michael Jacksons "Smooth Criminal" theme for my character, it's awesome.
I need to get a truck now after seeing that video.
does the xneat thing not work in win7?
My brother just finished creating a song in the in game editor and can't find out how to import it into his playlist, anyone know how? Edit: He figured it out.
I just bought one of the stun guns. I can't work it worth a damn.
Me and my friend caught quite a few people, but only because we saw them doing a crime and caught them by surprise, can't arrest worth shit in a mission. Speaking of witnessing, got bloody $6000 on a single one, saw 4 people stealing shit from a shop, witnessed them and instantly blew up the Van they had killed them all. The drop off zone was right next to me.
I just made Michael Jacksons "Smooth Criminal" theme for my character, it's awesome.
Funny thing about that. I saw a representation of MJ running around in social. :downs:
I made a nazi-mobile Damn it gets a lot of people pissed off.
I made a nazi-mobile Damn it gets a lot of people pissed off.
I think I saw it, are you enforcer? [editline]29th May 2011[/editline] On Colbey? Otherwise you got some followers. [editline]29th May 2011[/editline] Also, I STRONGLY suggest forcing some IRL friends to play this with you. It makes missions a lot more fun (and you've got someone to dick around with, perhaps with trucks :buddy:)
Did they improve the driving physics?
I just realised something after my posts IRL friends + trucks (preferably 4) = maximum trolling [editline]29th May 2011[/editline] Someone knows a good, free recording software? (not FRAPS free edition)
Did they improve the driving physics?
:colbert: There's nothing wrong with driving now. There was nothing wrong with the driving...ever.
The late reaction can be annoying in rare occasions, but you get used to it within a while. Faster cars (with low grip) might be a bit annoying later on, but you can just test them out when not dispatched.
Nope, 4 people it the largest. Also just wait until you're higher level and within a group, you start getting 4v5, 4v6, and on occasion 4v7... You'll long for the days where every match was an equal 1v1.
Its so much fun when you are playing with 3 friends and then 6-7 people gets dispatched against you. You are holding a VIP and barricading yourself in a building, you have tactics and people guarding different entrances/exits. You try to hold out and survive. Amazing game.
