I got a crim girl too, but I onlx used tht to make money so nothing on there.
So, 2 guys at medium range, about 30 meters apart. One has an OCA, unmodified, and the other has an OBIR, designed for long medium-range combat.
Guess who fucking wins?

I've used nothing but the star and the ltl pistol so far, because I really hate renting, but so many crims ask me what I use when I kill them and call me a hacker for it :suicide:

STAR isn't that bad. Decent magazine size, good range. Also half the players suck at third person shooters anyway.
STAR is easily one of the top 5 weapons in the game

Is it just me then that the other guns like that AK-thing (ntec?) and the mp5k-thing seem so much better?
Not to mention how impossible it is to get rid of a sniper in a good spot with the star.

They are. Also the opponents might have good modifications for weapons or something.

ntec, oca-ew and pmg are other weapons in the top 5. OCA is that mp5 one

Thing is, N-TEC 5 needs some skill to use, I was running around with one in a 1v3 , all enemies were using it too. None of them did anything too amazing, just me killing stuff dead, as usual (hidden skill bragging). Turns out, none of them used it right for the correct distances, like burst firing in close range.
It's pretty silly that you can't sell guns back that haven't expired yet.
If I want to try a new gun and I don't like it, I should have the power to sell it back.

in this game most of the fights are usually in rather closed areas, favoring mid- and short-range weapons.
This leads into influx of smg usage. If you are wondering as to why OCA is used more than PMG, it's due to higher damage per second. However, OCA also burns through ammo really quick (especially with cooling jacket) which leads to only 1-2 kills per magazine if you don't have an extended mags mod. PMG, on the other hand, deals more damage but has slower rate of fire, leading to smaller DPS but also provides a good ammo-damage ratio leading to 2-3 kills per magazine.
Although, usually bigger DPS wins unless you surprise your enemy. That's why most players favor OCA.

Shotguns are also very good weapons. That SPAS-lookalike (forgot the name) can kill enemies with two shots if you are at range of 12 meters or less. The reason shotguns aren't used much is that you have to aim, and not just spray and pray (which of course is very much easier).

I keep crashing after about 20 mins. The computer goes completely unresponsive, ctrl alt del fails, as does all the other helpful key strokes. I basically need to turn it off and on again.
I am running the game on all low, despite being able to run crysis on all high. This game keeps pissing me off - I know it could be good if it worked :|
