Internet speed?
Comcast business, so like 45 megabit down and 5 megabit up. It's not my internet, it's just shitty game code
so just cause you can't run it correctly it's a piece of shit game?
what is there to 'run correctly'
there are like two graphics options and it's the only game on my computer that's ever had this stuttering problem
also tons of other people have this issue too, there's no solution because the devs like to pretend it doesn't exist

Minimal, low, medium, high, highest, custom. They dont pretend like it doesnt happen. They talk about fixing it in almost every blog post.
This actually applies here,
You mad.

The only time my game stutters is when I only just joined a district and it has to load everything, you could also try not running it on the highest settings.
Money Laundry. It's usually marked on your screen and map.
Same guys that open briefcases right?
Same guys that open briefcases right?
No. Its an area that you go to and get money. Should say "MONEY LAUNDRY" as the objective.
[editline]3rd June 2011[/editline]
also, I have two operating systems installed right now and both of them run APB fantastically with everything maxed and AAx2. Windows 7x64 and XPx32. Only noticeable difference is XP gets about 10 more fps and uses a whole gig less of ram.
Currently downloading this, is it easy for newcomers to get in on the action?
I really wish the stash/reward money would stay after you disconnect.
Here I am, driving some stolen cars to the Impound, my Reward money going up with each car and then bam, "out of memory" crash and all my reward money is gone.
Currently downloading this, is it easy for newcomers to get in on the action?
The first thing you do after making a character is do 5 unopposed missions and then the game actually starts.

If you've played GTA/Saints Row, it won't be too hard. Imagine those missions but with Co-op/enemy controlled players. Also the interface, customization, and MMOey stuff takes a little bit of playtime to understand. Hell I racked up 28 hours in the past week and still don't understand shopping that much.

I had no idea how to switch around my clothing until I played around with every booth in the social district, so that might be the only issues newcomers might see.

Out of the 300 hours I spent in RTW APB 200 were in the social district. I never afk'd either.
Out of the almost 100 I spent in the new APB about 80 were in the action districts. It really depends if you're content with your customization.
I was never happy with mine. Every time I started up the game I would make something new. Sometimes I would spend 7 hours straight customizing. I remember one saturday I stayed up til 4am listening to my jams and making clothes.
I'll post screenshots of my taCTIc00L guy later. Vaun thinks it needs more lasers.
Just met my first 4 team of premium guys. Woah.
Free to play, sure - but definitely pay to win. All 4 perk slot things filled, each with kicking rad guns that would be impossible to have F2P atall / without playing 24/7.
My faith in this game just dropped heavily.
I still think pay to win. We had that glitch where you get a overly large team - we had 7 players from start. 3 of which I know are great, and I am ok at this game (would be better if it was first person TBH), as me and them had just demolished 3 other teams in missions. We got 7 players, thought it would be easy. Lolnope.
Their highest killer was 15 kills.
Our highest killer was ranking in with 3 kills.
Anyone made a clan on NA Joker for Criminals? If yes, I'd like to participate if possible.

More players on your team = more kills for the enemy team. It's not rocket science. We got pitted against 6-7 people too, with a team of 3; we ended up getting 15+ kills each.

Also paid guns only have more slots, if you don't understand this by now you're stupid.

it's not pay2win, it's more like the person who talks the most with his team wins. if you can set up an area where they will enter frmo any side and get shot at, the other team is fucked if they can't work together.
Is there any way to unlock these outside of missions?

I get a mission where I can do one of those things about every 3 hours (and most of the time I fail). It'd take forever to reach only lvl1.
I just unlocked Ram-Man 1 and bought the ram. :buddy:

I call bullshit. Every mission is involves breaking into, burning, bombing, or tagging. Its not possible that you get only TDM missions, hold the item missions and VIP missions for all 5 to 15 parts.

Go to this area, hold it and kill everything with 2 legs and a gun.

they talk about fixing it and never do, hundreds of people have the same issue, people with really good specs can barely run it on low but then someone else with similar specs can run it on high
it's the game
Alright, I created a clan called Facepunch Outlawers (Criminal) on the NA Joker server. If anyone wants to participate just send me a PM here on Facepunch with your character's name and I'll add you.
Anybody (Criminals or Enforcers) playing on Joker at the moment?
Wow I fucking love the N-TEC, just got 20-5 in a match with it.
I cant purchase any g1 credits. It never lets me put in my information and just says "Cannot be completed" How did you all purchase your premium?
People should stop looking at their scores and just have fun. Sometimes I get a couple of kills and I don't give a fuck because it was fun.
