Use ts3 or Ventrilo.

Close-Mid range it is definitely the PMG imo. It kills in 4 shots.

I already do, but when other people I know on ts3 aren't on it'd be nice to give my group members a heads up via voice.

I think thats something to do with forced AA?
both of the SMGs are pretty tough to go up against, but as little as I see them show up, the LMGs are just too fun for me to put down, especially the ALIG. That thing is a beast at med-long range, and NOBODY DRIVES ANYWHERE when I'm rocking this thing, lest they wish to be a smoldering crumpled pile of burning metal.

That's caused by Nvidia SLI/ATI Crossfire. Disable multi-GPU mode.

Just remember that when you buy an SMG, you're tossing Logic and Tactics out the window.
Just hide around corners and mindlessly spray at people, and you should do fine.
