Infinite height limit and huge mountains with snow peaks would be enough to get me back into Minecraft.
I wouldn't like infinite, in SMP people could base like 60,000 blocks up or down. Maybe like double or triple the height and depth.

What's bad about that?
Not that people will anyway, the server would likely crash.

Easy trolling.
It's called the dream update because notch it such a lazy fatass that none of these things are ever going to happen
Well then, anything that would make Minecraft much better.
Yep, here it is.

Thanks for telling me about it, because it seems someone is working on updating it for 1.6 :woop:
Somebody's updating it?!
FUCK YES.
Grappling hoooooooooks
Also, yMod edited the map generator, so it would generate maps like this:

Mountains that actually look like mountains!
Also, he raised the height limit to 512.

That is on far render distance and isn't even as high as you could possibly go.

Clouds look funny when they're at sea level
Iron Hatches/Trapdoors. It just got released and all, but I'm just putting it out there...

Yeah agree on this, but i think the depth should be infinite though cause that would not look stupid.
-snip, misread-
-added level and experence system
pshh i wish

If you want level and experience shit, go play Runescape. Maybe even get a mining skillcape.
Warring civilizations, ruins and full-on dungeons.
Yeah agree on this, but i think the depth should be infinite though cause that would not look stupid.
It's not about what looks stupid, its more that it would incredibly stress a server for either inf up or down, along with the already incredibly difficult task of finding bases in pvp-based servers, having a deeper depth to build at would make it far less enjoyable. That goes the same for bases 1000+ blocks in the sky.
We can only dream of this. Maybe one day some of it will be added.
Just some simple ambient noise
like
taiga biome

forest
And if Herobrine was added to the game as a feature, toggleable or not, it really wouldn't be scary because you'd know "he's" there with you, and whatever "he" does is just some script.
Basically the surprise "WTF IS THIS IN MY SINGLE PLAYER WORLD" feel is ruined.
Unless it was put into an update secretly and it was random if he was put into your world or not.
"City Ruins" biome :v:
Biomes should be much larger. I hate walking around and finding a small patch of tundra surrounded by three different types of forest. Notch said he'd make "the transitions between biomes more smooth" Maybe this is part of it.
Beaches (combined with sand and sand half-blocks, maybe)
Current "beaches" are maybe just five or six rows of sand. I'd like to find random clams and whatnot.
If you want goblin villages, go play Runescape. I'll not have any of that crap in my game.
You idiot, stop associating every thing to runescape, Goblin villages are in many games. Experience and leveling is to, leave now.
Answer me, don't rate me disagree because i have a good point and you don't.

Crickets at night too.
"City Ruins" biome :v:
Except the biome would have to be a certain size, or else you would have three-quarters of someone's house sitting in the middle of nowhere.
-snip-
I don't like the idea of infinite sky and earth, just make it way deeper / taller and that'd be fine. Instead of 128, like 1024.
Don't like the idea of chunks being 32x32x32 either, they're 16x16x128 (129 for SMP) and it seems to work alright.
A nice list otherwise.
- Zombies may spawn in packs
- Zombie packs can break blocks to get to you in your house
- Different moon phases (can affect frequency of wolves and mobs)

Please no. That's just annoying, not fun in any way. It's going to become a huge pain the ass having to fend off a pack of zombies after building a perfectly symmetrical, cozy house.
