I'm making one right now, but i think it's gonna end up mostly acoustic. If I can somehow transition it into a catchy rhythm with a beat, I will, but right now that's proving to be quite difficult.
You want mood?

Sorry, I got carried away.
what VST are you using to make your music?
EastWest Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra.
I'd love to hear a more fast-paced song out of you, since you have already showed your magnificence with regular music.
One that would go well with the feeling of exploring a dangerous cavern.

Fast-paced as in a faster beat? Because that might be doable. But I'm not gonna do any Prodigy-style stuff if that's what you're talking about. :P
This fits Minecraft so well.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say I'll be done with it by tonight, and it's 1 PM here right now. But I'm gonna prepare my preemptive formal apology...
I'm working on this.
:saddowns:
I like it a lot :D
It might fit nicely with a slow swaying beat.
I often find myself wishing that I could add songs to the in game soundtrack. A lot of these would be going in there.
I'm starting to dislike what I'm working on right now... I hate when this happens.

what size are album covers in pixels?
the Grass that Grows one really sounds alot like Sigur Ros.
Love it!
also i might try making a decent album cover for you
Please do! :D
Alright, I just finished a new song. I was having some serious neural deficiencies and couldn't come up with anything for the longest time, but this was birthed this morning. I hope it turned out nice enough. :3:
I reuploaded it. This is a much more well-mastered version. I still hate how the drums sound all garbled at some points, but it only sounds that way streaming. It's fine if you download it.
Right! Epic art for this is REQUIRED. I must comply.
:D Can't wait!
Yeah just ignore me. :frown:
I didn't ignore you. It's exporting right now :P

This song is terrific, I really like how it turned out.
I knew you didn't. I just like me some drama.
This is great. It's beautiful, I wish I was brave enough to get Ableton, but I know I won't know shit. Just now that I'm starting to learn a bit of FL... :frown:
Once you learn something, it's a relatively horizontal learning curve to switch. There aren't really any DAWs that are remarkably better than any others, but Ableton is one of the best as far as the built-in instruments and tools go. Since this is pretty much the most important aspect, one might argue that Ableton is the best, but to a certain extent, it's just preference. Don't worry, FL is not holding you back. :D
what size are album covers in pixels?
Don't worry about that. I'll do all the resizing and editing. Graphic design is one of my specialties, so all I really need is a great painting.
I love the one Biscuit-Boy made, and I'll use that if I don't get a better/more Minecrafty one.
These are great! Eagerly looking forward to more.
What do you guys think; should I make an Elder Scrolls style one with a more medieval-like feeling to it? Sort of like Pet Wolves, only more so.
If not, suggest!

Do you mean like this?

No, more of a village-like atmosphere. Very serene and peaceful; not intense or epic. Just kind of like a very quiet marketplace with cobble beneath the feet and medieval houses all around. Chickens running around, dogs wandering in search of food, and children playing in a grassy knoll. A stream trickling under the bridge nearby. In the distance, maybe a gorgeous castle atop a mountainside with clouds sheathing its peaks. Not Winter, but Spring.

I love Track 3 and 6. The first 45 seconds of Track 4 are so ripped off I thought it was a cover at first.
It's all pretty great though.
These are amazing, well done.
