Thee Wiiu is also rumored to be backwards compatible with gamecube, so that front slot is probably for that.
Downloading a bunch of stuff off of Nintendo's press site, I'll post screenshots etc. It's really slow though so hold on. Luigi's Mansion 2 screenshot's comin' up.
