Nintendo exclusives, possibly better launch titles. I'm one of those people of the opinion that Uncharted isn't worth the time of day.
I love Uncharted
not trolling, i really think that most of nintendo's first party titles are extremely unimaginative.
Yeah, and Gears of War/Call of Duty/Uncharted/et cetera is a whole lot more imaginative. (I'm not talking about you, LittleBigPlanet/Modnation Racers/Banjo-Kazooie) [editline];[/editline] Automerge! :argh:
You either had no childhood or you are 12
Running off nostalgia and and being imaginative isn't the same thing. The last console Nintendo did anything Imaginative with their first party titles was the n64.
Running off nostalgia and and being imaginative isn't the same thing. The last console Nintendo did anything Imaginative with their first party titles was the n64.
Gamecube had good, imaginative games too
Ed Boon is also there?
Gamecube had good, imaginative games too
I loved Super Monkey Ball, even if it wasn't first-party. The newer Monkey Balls aren't as good though. :frown:
Running off nostalgia and and being imaginative isn't the same thing. The only decent first party game they've made this entire generation is Super Mario Galaxy, and even that was essentially just Mario 64 again. They're not doing anything remotely exciting, they're completely isolated from the rest of the industry as far as I see it.
Nintendo had the best conference like every year.
lol no
lol no
2008 doesn't count
lol no
Nintendo guy lol
Live recording reaction on vent of halo 4 reveal yesterday.
While I agree with some of the views, those guys sound like tools.
How could they change it? its all part of the same story, its like saying the same thing for any series, Lord of the rings for example.
IMO, Mario and Zelda are going the way of The Simpsons, dragged out unnecessarily long just because of brand recognition and marketing. It'd be nice if Nintendo could step outside of their formula for money-milking and take risks. Then again, I never really did care much for gaming back when Mario and Zelda were in their heydays.
Neither has cod
lol u dumb Nintendo = Gaming company CoD = Game series You can't even compare the two but here you are doing it. The fact is that Nintendo hasn't come up with a new IP since what? The lifeblood of Nintendo is using rehashing the same people/characters. Most successful Wii game? Super Smash Brothers Brawl, a collection of characters that Nintendo has constantly milked. Okay well most of the characters. Snake and Sonic were there for money and more recognition.
