The Space Marine gameplay was absolutely awesome.

But when you release Mario Kart for every single system, even in the same gen (Wii, DS, 3DS, most likely WiiU) then it's obvious milking. Just imagine that and multiply it by ten. You guys are saying Nintendo won E3 because they do the same thing they do every year, yeah way to play it safe.

What stream are we watching?
DSi, DSlite, DSi XL, etc. Milking.
A lot of companies do that Hell, it has been that way since the 16-bit era (Take the Sega Megadrive for example), and way before

Uncharted 3? More Kinect shovelshit? Nintendo won E3.
Each and every one of those was an advance in hardware, stop oversimplifying things.
Game boy micro: ITS SMALLER
Are you joking? Almost every one of those improved on its predecessor in some interesting way. (Besides the gameboy micro)
Thanks for clarifying exactly what was improved. One small step in technology doesn't call for a new release at $150-200 a piece.
I think what Tizz is trying to say is that they need more characters instead of the ones we've seen for the last 10 years. The games themselves are great when it is obvious they aren't trying to make money off of the characters (cough cough Super Mario Strikers).
Did they say Skyrim was next?
No, some Lord of the Rings thing... Where's my Skyrim, IGN!
A lot of companies do that Hell, it has been that way since the 16-bit era (Take the Sega Megadrive for example), and way before
Only thing I can think of that is recent is PS3-PS3 Slim, Xbox360-Xbox 360 Slim. Nintendo goes overboard.
Son of a bitch. Are they showing skyrim or not?
E3 2011 Rap-up
damn man, thats not bad at all. should get a better mic though
So what did Sony or Microsoft do to win E3 over Nintendo? A new CoD game? Uncharted 3? More Kinect shovelshit? Nintendo won E3.
CoD is multiplatform and I don't care for it. Uncharted 3, pardon Naughty Dog for wanting to create a trilogy for their consecutive wins at GOTY. The Kinect games were actually intended for the core audience not the casuals so I don't see how that's a problem. It also showed Kinect being used in games as an extra feature, so no loss there. How are you actually going to convince yourself that another Mario Kart is acceptable, even with the same awful graphics showing signs of no progress whatsoever?
Only thing I can think of that is recent is PS3-PS3 Slim, Xbox360-Xbox 360 Slim. Nintendo goes overboard.
What about the range of PSPs that are all almost exactly the same?
New Twisted Metal is fine because it's been so long. You guys are saying Nintendo won E3 because they do the same thing they do every year, yeah way to play it safe.
You can say they are milking it, but hell they are doing things differently with all variations. They're not on the same console so they all have something unique in them by using what the certain console has. Mario Kart Wii uses the motion control, DS version uses the second screen, 3DS is adding in the 3D, they are all a different experience with a different console. Call of Duty, has been on the same console for 5 years making the same game every year, not trying to innovate since Call of Duty 4. Mario 64 is completely different than Sunshine(water mechanics) and Sunshine is different than galaxies(Space and trippy gravity) - (Galaxy 2 I could say is milking off the original and not much innovation). Nintendo doesn't really play it safe, they just revealed a new console that has a HD screen on the controller, so you can play the game on the controller instead of the TV. And in 2006 they had the Wii motion control. Gamecube was them trying to be the same. N64 had the wierd 3 stick controller. Nintendo tries different things, even if they are gimmicky some of the time and I like them for that - Note that I have never played Sunshine, most of the Mario Kart titles, or Galaxy. But from what I've seen of them they all have something unique about them (gameplay-wise)
A new CoD game? Uncharted 3? More Kinect shovelshit?
Why is it Kinect "shovelshit"? They were showing genuinely good games for it and an updated user interface which uses Kinect.
What about the range of PSPs that are all almost exactly the same?
Sony did that to help combat piracy. Each gen had an extra hardware layer of protection (that was still broken super easily)

Nintendo = Multinational Corporation Infinity Ward/Treyarch = Game Developer
What about the range of PSPs that are all almost exactly the same?
They ARE the same, the difference between them being basically they are a few milimeters thinner than the other :v:
Ugh. Why do people insist on comparing shit like this? Nintendo = Multinational Corporation Infinity Ward/Treyarch = Game Developer
I think the the whole CoD milking is Activision, a multinational corporation's fault. Not so much Infinity Ward or Treyarch.
Why is everyone praising Nintendo? They never can create new IPs and continue to stick with twenty year old characters and franchises that have begun to go stale. Mario Kart, Super Mario, Legend of Zelda, Star Fox, Smash Brothers, Pokemeon, etc...Let's be real here, who are the ones actually milking cash? It doesn't take much talent to produce the same thing over and over again. And did I mention, another handheld?
Yet every game they make is still the best in the genre.
Ugh. Why do people insist on comparing shit like this? Nintendo = Multinational Corporation Infinity Ward/Treyarch = Game Developer
So because they're a software company they should not try to innovate anything?
Ugh. Why do people insist on comparing shit like this? Nintendo = Multinational Corporation Infinity Ward/Treyarch = Game Developer
I compared it because even though it's a huge corporation they still make fucking games, much like the other game developers. I'm explaining that Nintendo does use their characters a lot, but in different ways and they try and make gameplay different with each variation. Call of Duty has done the same thing for a long time, it's paid off but I feel like it's becoming dry soon, and they'll need to find another innovation. Nintendo just gets the benefit of making their own console as well
