Does anyone still have the third reich mod? It was deleted from steamworkshop before I could download it.
Okay, so me and PieClock were linking roads. His city to mine whilst I was linking mine to my capital:

I have no idea where this is going.

This has been great fun so far.
So glad I bought this game. :v:
MOTHER OF GOD RUSSIA DECLARES WAR ON ME. WORLD WAR 3 HAS BEGUN IN 250 AD

PieClock has come to bail me out and defend my line. I have all my army fighting a barbarian camp but russia blocked us off. Surely a trap? Now we're desperately trying to get back to launch a second counter attack on the Russians!
Would any want to play a game with me? I don't have G&W. http://steamcommunity.com/id/LatheGod
This is why I never have my units auto build roads.
I never have anybody auto-do anything. I'm a obsessive micromanager in these sorts of games, which is probably why I tend to build tall empires.

The only time I automate builders is once I build all the improvements I want and then new improvements are just from expanding territory.
I've gotten into some bad habits with Carthage's free harbour
"Free harbour? Okay I don't need to make roads to get trade routes"
I discover later, my land army is stuck moving only 1 tile each turn because the whole continent is hills.
Then this happens
Found out you can build roads on mountains as Carthage. Don't know if other players can use them though.
"What was that Gandhi? you think you're safe behind that mountain range? Prepare to be ROFLStomped by hyperspeed elephants!"
I'm new as hell to this game, the unit build length seems ridiculous compared to Medieval II?
i bought this game for £6 in a second hand shop
at first i thought it wasn't civ 5, thought it was something else, or that civ 6 was the newest game or something
but i was wrong, i got civ 5 for £6

What era are you in and where are you building them? I don't recall what's tied to unit productions (may be population or production) but I find that later on your cities can start cranking out units rapidly, and there are a few upgrades early on that can help you (Honor and Liberty, specifically).

I thought that if a unit ends it's turn on a mountain, it loses health. It takes more than 1 turn to make a road, so wouldn't the worker die?
Is the R.E.D pack any good?
It's good, but it felt like it made my game a bit laggier earlier into the game than it would normally start lagging.
I really regret buying this game on the steam sale because this game is consuming almost every wake hour.
It's too fucking addicting and entertaining!
‎"And so it was that in the year 2260 BC, the fledgling Aztec civilisation declared war on the city state of Sidney. At the head of a small but elite army of oddly Caucasian Aztec warriors, the nations first, and possible greatest general...Oliver Cromwell."
That's just silly.
Oh I got Rommel as one of my Generals in 250BC :v:

Is it me or is Rommel the most common Great General name you get?

I got Leonidas the most.
China keeps stealing Mr. Agree and my special buildings. Mr.Agree is playing London so he wanted Big Ben but they took it from him. I wanted to steal the great wall of china but they didn't let me have the pleasure of doing that either plus a ton of other buildings.
Wait, you can use spies to steal wonders?
uh no, only technologies
does the AI still cheat on prince?
Is there any way to make a custom Civ?
does the AI still cheat on prince?
Yeah, but there's a mod on the workshop to fix it (I didn't tried it yet though). If you type in "cheat" you should find it.
Started a new game as Montezuma today when I noticed this:

I need friends who play the same games as me.

Cheers Civ!
Anyone want to play?
Add me.
I cannot believe I missed the Gods and Kings sale because a storm knocked out my internet.
This is why I cannot have nice things (quite literally).
[editline]21st July 2012[/editline]
