Amass your army and take Ghandi down! Fuck victories, nobody is going to be victorious if Ghandi turns the world into a massive irradiated fireball.
Gandhi just took out my entire force of elite planes out with a single nuke. It was certainly a bad idea to keep them all in one place.

There's no victory conditions, this, like most of my games goes on forever until I delete the save and/or I get a hard drive failure.

How did you managed to get THAT MUCH gold and culture per turn? I barely even have 200 gpt at times.

Every single city of mine has all the buildings in the game apart from the spaceship factory. Every jungle tile in my borders has a trading post on it, there are a lot of them. I've got every wonder apart from 2, Notre Dam stolen by the French and Petra stolen by Arabia.
Also, whoever said that Order is good for large empires because of the +1 happiness in all cities is a fool. Freedom's half unhappiness from specialists saved me a lot more happiness than order would have, even with 13/14 cities. (Also, I had the CN tower wonder +1 happiness per city anyway)
Also, the french had recently surrendered in the face of giant death robots against landships, giving me +200 GPT

When I play Civ (IV mostly, only V at my friends house. I don't have it yet), the only victory conditions I have are "kill everyone" (always a condition) and diplomacy. The last one keeps it interesting.
Here is a rather simple yet useful mod release. The mod adds hotkeys for the Info Corner. "~" through "5" are used to open up the various panels. To download, click the link below, subscribe, and then just enable it in game.

I might be making a whole custom hot key mod with the ability to map any window to any key. Not sure how viable that is as of now, especially considering that I am not sure if already used keys can be overridden, but I'll be looking into it. It is something the devs should have included.
Was playing a marathon game on a medium / large map with myself and 7 bots, i was playing as france.
I wont go into full detail, but i was keeping my empire small, aka 1 city with a fuck load of land along a river. Early on in the game Germany wipes out every other civ on our island so it's my 'little' city quiet litterally sitting right in the middle of shit creek. I had not realised how big germany got cause i could not get out to explore the world.
by about 200 turns into the game, the never ending war broke out between myself and the large sprawling empire of germany.
Lucky for me my capital was the epitome of efficiency and i was miles ahead in technology, I had but 8 units of my own and a great general but my little city fended off wave after wave of endless german troops througout the ages, i was still ahead with my tech getting to arty. I upgraded my 4 cannons (all completely maxed out vet, yes all 4 of them).
I looked at the demographics and it said that my army of 8 units was the 2nd largest on the planet but also 5 times smaller than germany. I was heading for an easy culture victory (i was 2 polices away from it) But i sat back and thought about it, i wanted a so much more satisfying victory. You know what Kaiser fuck it and fuck your shitty unhappy empire, you started this war offering me bullshit peace treaties for everything i have after you send yet another wave of units to their death befroe they can even return fire. I'm sick of it, i was happy being a peacfull civ till you tried to muscle in.
So slowly but surely, I started to move on the offensive, i took down every single city he had with the same 8 units i had from the start of the game, My Artillary pounding the living fuck out of every poor bastard that dared to venture into range or not get the fuck out of the way in time, my civ went from 1 city to 50 odd in the space of about 70 turns, i obliterated that war mongering wanker and became the most hated person on the planet, no one would trade with me, denouncing circle jerk sessions we're thrown about liek confetti and do you know what? Fuck you i didnt start the war but i damn well ended it, Gandhi made a late rallie some how and built the UN and somehow had alot more money than me, i waited for the last turn before the vote, allied evey single citystate on the board then declared war on every CiV left in the game for good measure,
you can't kill em all gandhi you sneaky fuck!
I really regret not buying Civ V in the sales. The only Civilization game I have is Civ III: Complete. :v:
I swear when I get money I'm buying it, it looks really fun and challenging.

What's wrong with you, playing as France.
You should have played as Germany in the first place!
I started playing a game at midnight and it's noon in an hour, time just flew because I was having so much fun. I'm pretty sure i'm destroying the game so far, with thousands of gold, almost every wonder building, tons of culture, and about 70 happiness.
I started on a large island with 2 other civs, one of them started a war, and I won pretty easily, and it was a good job too because they had 2 sources of iron giving 6 each which I got out of it, which helps saying i'm playing Japan and Samurais need it.
Fuck this is so fun.

So I guess our multiplayer game is off the cards today then :v:

I get one every two or three turns, I just sell them for gold since they're not promoted and they're always costing maintenance.
Every time I play this game, Napoleon emerges on top. Then he usually declares war on me. I fucking hate Napoleon.
Oh crap, I just dropped a nuclear bomb on my own goddamn town.
Holy shit, I just downloaded the demo for this game, it's fucking brilliant!
Definitely going to have to buy it some time.
Oh god, somebody help me
I have 3 nuclear missiles stationed at one city, after it was rebuilt
So last night me and my good buddy Dan were playing a game that started in the Atomic era for shits and giggles. I was Russia he was Byzantium and the other AI were The Huns, China, Japan, and Arabia.
The map was continents. We found out pretty quick he started with an entire continent to himself and the game had shoved me onto one continent with every other fucking civ all around me. Oh well.
So I'm taking the Autocracy/Liberty tree to be a large warmonger empire, and I meet Atilla who's all friendly because "Hey we're both fascist assholes let's be friends" meanwhile every other civ is not the happiest because "Hey you're a fascist asshole".
About the time we reach the information era (and I've produced about 3-4 atomic bombs) Atilla the Hun starts marching a ton of troops down towards my capitol, and right behind him, Japan. (They just fought a war and called peace so I don't know what the fuck is going on).
He declares war on me (and at the same time my slowass spy tells me he's planning a surprise attack on me). Luckily his soldiers are far enough from my territory that I can do this:
I nuke his advancing soldiers.
He brings more in this time with Japan. I nuke the both of them and inadvertently declare war on Japan. To which I find out thanks to my spy he was going to surprise attack me.
Surprise, motherfucker.
So this just ends up being this 30-40 year long nuclear war, with me producing nothing but nukes from my cities with the occasional soldier to ward off closer attacks, and me and Dan end up completely obliterating Osaka, Tokyo, Casablanca, and one of Atilla's other cities.
All the while we're laughing our asses off because we're imagining the circumstances.
The Japanese and Hunnic armies marching towards my borders, their generals all smug in their confidence that they're going to catch my by surprise. Then they look up and see a large bomber flying overhead. "That bomber has Russian markings..."
'Yeah, it does. I wonder what it's doing out here?'
"Wait, what's that it just dropped from the bomb bay do- oh god"

There are two civilizations left on the planet.
Napoleon and I teamed up to take down Suleiman, but the world was not big enough to hold us both forever.
I had all of my forces (4 destroyers, a carrier, bunch of infantry, some rocket artillery) attack Rome (which was French, meaning Napoleon had taken over the Romans before I found their continent).
I decided it would be a good plan to drop some fucking atom bombs on the city, because I'd just made atom bombs and as a first time player atom bombs sounded like the best thing ever.
I captured the city, and, as Napoleon was keeping it as a puppet, decided to liberate it, effectively ressurrecting the Roman Empire.
I wanted to groom Caesar into an ally, but he was kind of a dick so I recaptured the city within the turn, destroying the Romans again.
So, I just won a game with tech victory, so I moved my 3 carriers back to my shores, loaded atomic bombs and nuked all of my three cities. Fuck the world.
[editline]24th July 2012[/editline]
I also declared war with every force on the planet after my capital survived. Last I saw it was 1x infantry VS 7x nukes + bombers + fighters + rockets.
What is the difference between the demo and the full version?

Warlord. I'm guessing I'll have to bump it up a bit now that I'm used to the game.
