is this legit?
Yeah, it's where I got mine from!
There's a lot of people saying it's not ,though, so you might not want to risk it.
So, me, ZestyLemons and a friend outside of FP started playing this game. Huge, standard game time, and continents, with max AI.
this is what is happening in this super serious game.

I haven't read the patch notes but could someone tell me if they have changed spies at all?
I turn them off in every game because mine always end up being a waste of time being used defensively and yet i still leak tech from every fucking orifice to every scumbag civ on the board.

actually I went ahead and did it last night. woke up this morning with the key in my email :v:
I recently had a bug. Whenever I make a peacetreaty with another Civ, it won't end. No matter how many turns I play, I can never declare war on that specific civ again.
I have searched on google, but I can only find people with similair problems from 2010. Do any of you guys know a fix for this?
never declare peace
Playing the Conquest of the New World scenario on Deity as the Iroquois, wiped out Napoleon early on, me and the Incas kicked Spain's ass, and I just managed to be the first one to get a caravel to China.

So, about that surplus Civ V key...I've still got it. Anyone want to make me an offer?

An image macro is any image with text like that.
Just got Gods & Kings, has America always been this big a dick?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/JGUb6.jpg[/t]
He asks me for 1,200 gold (later 1,800 before he declared war on me for "being aggressive")
So I nuked him, and he promptly begged for peace.

Some civs just end up making crazy demands like that when they get into trouble.
I've had China ask for all but a few hundred gold from me before.

I try to see it as an opportunity to ally with whoever is at war with them and steal some easy cities.
Then you can make your demands.
AI is always a cunt, it's just a matter of time before they turn on you.
The general process goes like this.
They bug you forever to:
Be Friends
Exchange Embassy's
Open Boarders
Declare War on someone else
If you agree to be friends they will ask for some of your shit for nothing, If you say No - You Get Denounced (If you ask for anything for free you get told to do one)
They constantly attack a city state your allied with and beg for your forgiveness, if you tell them to stop - You Get Denounced
You attack one city state that's allied with no one and been at war with everyone at once point - You get denounced, for being a war mongering menace.
You agree to start a war with someone else, they agree peace after 10 turns - You get denounced for being a war mongering menace.
You spend 2000 years under constant bombardment from a hostile CiV and you do nothing but defend your land. The second you go on the offensive - You get Denounced for being a war mongering menace.
long story short all roads lead to denouncing always. Want to have a relatively easy time of it then never agree to be friends with anyone and only agree to shit that benefits you.

the fuck
Well thanks to the recent steam sale, I've finally gotten my hands on Gods & Kings, and its spectacular.
I'm currently playing two games: One is on the WvsE map with the Franks(mod) and Denmark engaged in war. Franks are on defense, while Denmark is on offense.
The rule is that I have to stay on my side, and never explore his side of the map, while defending myself from his onslaught of berserkers, very challenging, if I say so myself.
The other is me playing as the Iroquois, along with the Incans, Aztec, and Maya on skirmish while using a mod to halt the game in the medieval age. Going for a culture victory.
Would've known better than to trust Monty. Pacal, whom I was beginning to suspect of spying on me after he kept requesting I give him an embassy, revealed to me that Monty was plotting. After stealing a tech from Pacal, I sent my spy over to Tenochtitlan to snoop, and sure enough, he had a load of jaguars readying at Pacal's gates. Before I could warn him of what was going on, he bombarded through the gates of his cities, and stole one. I denounced him, and formed allies with the Mayas.
This story has not ended yet, though, as I prepare my Mohawk army to take back Mayan land. Soon victory shall be ours, and justice shall be served!

I know it's 2 weeks late, but you can make an image macro if you made it yourself, and if it's in response to a specific post.
I'm guessing the mods don't want people to make posts which took zero effort to make.
Oh wow, after this last update, the game runs really smoothly for me. Games are a lot more fun, now.
Barring the fact that delhi took 4 cannons to take down because of its obscene health regeneration
Newbie question, Can i skip making something from my city in a turn? I don't like having to build junk units to end the turn.

Don't think so, but you can always set it to make science/gold/etc.
If you can't do any of those AND you have nothing left to build then you're doing something wrong (i.e. having no military)
finally got around to buying G&K from the steam summer thing, holy shit I've been missing out.

Not necessarily, plenty of times iv'e found myself wasting a couple of turns on a build i don't want / need purely because I'm waiting on a wonder to unlock.

Atilla once asked for all my cities, all the gold in my treasure, all my resources, and everything.
Fucking dicksucker
Newbie question, Can i skip making something from my city in a turn? I don't like having to build junk units to end the turn.
Build junk unit, convert it to gold. (kill button, if in your territory it gives you some gold compared to the units worth.) Assuming you can't just set it to convert production to science/research/gold.
Bought this game a few hours before it became 75% off, but I got it during 50% off so I don't really care.
Loving it, though.
Getting G&K with my Crimbo money.
Just got Gods & Kings, has America always been this big a dick?

Late, but washington is a huge dick.
I once had him on me and a friend's team, we would declare war and they would beg for peace. WE would deny, but then fuckface over here would accept it and net himself like 3 gold.
I bought Gods & Kings the other day when it was on sale, and I'm looking forward to playing it - though I can't right now because Civ is one of the things which happens to cause these odd crashes I've been getting, along with so many other things, so It'll have to wait until I've sorted that out.
I just wanted to ask something - months ago my friend and I wanted to play a game on one of the huge Earth maps from the Steam Workshop, but we couldn't figure out how to use downloaded maps in multiplayer. Is there a way to do it, or can you only play downloaded maps on singleplayer? If so, that's kind of shit. I still love the game, though.

Only singleplayer when dealing with mods, it's pretty annoying but the game is still great.
