Don't know why, but every time I think back on the Civilization series, that music that gives me the biggest nostalgia is:

My friend gave me an old laptop of his. It's not very powerful but I can play Civ3 pretty decent. So I can play it everywhere I want.

Actually, there are quite a lot of songs, they are played according to the region of the world.

i can't even find one i liked because of the amount, i think the music on this game is pretty fucking good, all classy and epic.

Alert and Heal is a good lifesaver of units when defending.

Also on archers, just let them attack your enemy normally while a tile further than melee distant, it should work depending on the terrain.

Are there supposed to be no animations in multiplayer? Because it's really dull when my units teleport everywhere.

No to both I believe, I think there is only autosaving in MP.

So I just found out that there was a mod for Civ IV specifically to allow you destroy buildings in your cities. I haven't found any way to destroy them in Civ V so I'm guessing it's going to be the same? What the fuck could be a reason to not allow you to remove shit that just destroys your income?

You shouldn't have built it in the first place.

In CIV it didn't matter anyway, except for coal plants if your cities were on rivers and you got the no-sickness building thing, but even then with the recycling building thing (lol I forgot all the names already) which removed all sickness from buildings it didn't matter.

It's mostly coming from annexed/puppet cities, or before I got the option to make money instead of buildings. And it does matter because I spend a whooping 110 gold on building maintance, compared to 50 unit, and 10 tile improvement maintance. I could be using that lost gold in a lot of ways.

Does anyone play only on on the "Modern Age"? It seems like the game isn't challenging me. I'm playing at the highest difficulty and I've still been able to repel an invasion by two fucking Ghandis and the Egyptians. It was close but my death robot held them back.

This game is too fucking easy, I still have yet to see a nuke or any planes from the enemy.
