You can find it in the Mod Browser too.
I didn't see it in the browser and I checked every page.
Huh, that's weird, probably something messed up on your filters or just the mod page itself the time you searched for it.

Sounds like later on in the game the whole game slows down with that mod.
Steam is saying that the game is currently unavailable and to try again later. It's been doing this ever since yesterday afternoon. :frown: Halp?
did you try restarting [editline]03:39PM[/editline] steam [editline]03:39PM[/editline] well this was a terrible post for page 38
Fucking China not wanting a defensive pact.
Steam is saying that the game is currently unavailable and to try again later. Loads of people are downloading it and it takes quite some time. So you have to wait for a while when servers are stable again.
Any tips? About to start. This is my first Civ game. I know the easy controls and stuff but any tips?
Ugh, I lost my game. I had 4 samurai, and then Hiawatha declared war on me. He had 8 riflemen, and various other units. I got destroyed.
Any tips? About to start. This is my first Civ game. I know the easy controls and stuff but any tips?
start slow and beware of ghandi
Ghandi will call you his friend up until the moment he kicks your ass. Don't even give that asshole the open borders agreement, or he'll just park all his shit around you and THEN do it Remember our Fate on Twenty Sixty Eight

What is up with the AI being mentally defunct when it comes to making peace. I have taken literally 17/22 of Bismark's cities, 6 of them being over 10 population, and he refuses to submit to me. Instead he demands resources from me.
Just got Civ5 after playing an indefinite number of games of Civ2. Is the AI still retarded in expansion and research because I can't count the number of games in which I had riflemen while they were still defending with Archers.
Any tips? About to start. This is my first Civ game. I know the easy controls and stuff but any tips?
Start of slowly. Take it easy and don't go to war with anyone, try to fight the roaming babarians and raid their camps for gold boosts. It will help you to actually buy units which saves a lot of times. Expanding is essential and you should try early to get some settlers, then some workers to improve your land and infrastructure.

China for example went to war with a city state I wanted to be friends with, so I went to war with china. Killed some of their shit, she proposed a peace treaty for nothing, I denied. Killed some more shit, and declared me as an ally of said city state and that I would protect it, and then she offered a peace treaty with a buncha other stuff. This is fairly early in the game and I've not yet attacked any cities yet.
Is there any mod out there that will stick to an era instead of the game progressing through it? Say I want a game in just the Industrial Era, for everyone Kind of like an option Rise of Nations had
Is there any mod out there that will stick to an era instead of the game progressing through it? Say I want a game in just the Industrial Era, for everyone Kind of like an option Rise of Nations had
I'd like to see that, too.

Any way to destroy buildings? I don't get how you guys get such large armies. Right now I am at 50+(gold per turn) with only like 5 units total. 450 building upkeep :(
I'd like to see that, too.
did you guys even look in the advanced set up? you can start in any era
did you guys even look in the advanced set up? you can start in any era
but STAY in an Era, not research beyond it.
You could change all the science to smaller things from an era and have it going at a much slower scale. Or if you wanted medieval you could just disable all new tech and eliminate science all together. Would make an interesting game but probably fuck up the AI.
This is killing my brain. [editline]10:53PM[/editline] I knew it was a bad idea. I just didn't realise how far in I was going, nor what I would have to do to prepare for it.
Funny, I got to modern age in the 1800's in a Huge mapped, 1 Vs. 1, no city-states, Earth map. I started in North Africa, I was washington, going against a random picked enemy .When I found him, he was in NE Asia, and he was Arab king guy. He was still in the mid-Evil era. I just Unlocked nukes, but I decided to take over most of his cities, and nuke the one on Japan.( I might not nuke it though)

That fixed a startup crash for me. Unless it happens after the intro, then I don't know.
