Is there Multiplayer on the demo ? this game got me interested but i heard some shitty things about MP.

The demo defaulted me to all low, 1024x768. Using Fraps just at that starting position, it looked butt ugly and I had between 7-14fps.

Boosting settings to 1280x1024, all high settings(no AA) I get between 5-11fps.

It looks gorgeous though. This is on a single core P4 2.8ghz Prescott, with ATI 5450 512mb vidcard, 1.5gb system ram on DX11 mode.

Demo:-
Was able to adjust all graphical options (eg resolution, graphics, hud size/detail)
Limited to chieftain difficulty(I think), six players (give or take one or two), small map.
100 turns, then exit.
No multiplayer in the demo.

Game is brilliant.

ffs I've got the game preloaded but can't play it because I'm in the UK and we're not allowed to play it until Friday for God knows what reason, so I download the demo and it's going to take an hour because I have to download the whole thing even though most of the files are on my computer. There must be some way to bypass this date shit.

I just finished my first game. Mind = blown. I have great hardware, but I had to run it in DX9 with a smaller resolution. The default settings were extremely choppy for some reason.
