Well then feel free to go back playing the glory and splendor that is the cawadooty series.
The ironic thing is despite the recent call of duties being terrible I still had tenfold the amount of fun I did playing them than I did eve :)
Good for you. Now get out if you don't have anything to say.
On my way to Jita now :buddy:
I wouldn't say it's justified, but it's fucking amazing to be able to see that happen in a game. EvE's universe truly is run by the players Temporarily renaming Jita to Libya Caldari Spring!
On my way to Jita now :buddy:
make some screens if the riot destroys a base
make some screens if the riot destroys a base
Will do.
Would be way more fun if rioters formed huge mobs and went all out apeshit on everything in sight though (like player run corporations).
I'm pretty sure the riot is mostly about the fact that the ISK value of PLEX has boomed. RPS wrote about it recently.
Eve is serious business. No really, it is.
Yer Goddamn right it is! My Character is docked at the station in the OP's screenshot (The one in the background) You fuckers better not riot and blow it up
The streets will run red with.. I mean...Space will be littered with frozen corpses.
EvE has its own history and culture at this point. There are defining moments throughout the time that its been played that everyone knows about, and none of it was scripted GM events either Though there are those too, I suppose
you can't blow up a ccp station IIRC
This game looks amazing. However, I'm going to go for the "watch from afar" style of gameplay, the one that doesn't involve me paying vast quantities of money to get beaten up in space.
EVE has had more than a dozen free expansions. [editline]25th June 2011[/editline] Yep! A lot of people are whining about it. [editline]25th June 2011[/editline] You shouldn't. They're the equivalent of gold sellers in WoW. Mostly Russians, Chinese, and Serbians, to be honest. [editline]25th June 2011[/editline] They can't actually blow up the stations, although CCP likes to do events that correlate what capsuleers do into actual storyline events. So the memorials people have been shooting for the last 12 hours may very well be replaced with wreckage in the near future.
uh they're not rioting over the monocle. They're rioting over the leak. Buying SP for real money? Eve ruined.
You know something's wrong when a monocle costs more than A GOD DAMNED SPACE SHIP!
Does any one remember when they did this before? Accept they were attacking player battle stations or something like that. Costing whom ever lost it up to $100,000 in real cash.
DEAR GOD Haven't seen so many ships in one place at once.
Yer Goddamn right it is! My Character is docked at the station in the OP's screenshot (The one in the background) You fuckers better not riot and blow it up
prepare to buy a clone soon
CCP should send guys into Jita and start announcing and processing evacuations from the damn sector
I'd laugh if whatever Goonswarm became just went and killed all the rioters.
You guys have no idea how laggy this is. I have a constant worry that I'm going to be attacked at any moment.
Isn't this just a massive scam to sell more ammunition?
Expensive shirt as an in-game item. Destroy everything in protest.
It's actually a monocle,lol
The monocle would still not be worth it even if the models, textures, etc. were handcrafted for each single monocle sold so that everyone that purchased a monocle had a unique one.
Stuff like this makes me wanna make a video game text book, really bad. As far as video games, this is pretty historic. [editline]25th June 2011[/editline] oh my god i want to do this so bad now
Good job EVE players.
Who the hell in CCP thought this was a good idea? I mean ok they test the waters but then after all this backlash they still try to back up their motives?
I thought the space police shot at you, if you fired at a station.
But what happens when suddenly 3+ space cops are spawned, per player when there are couple hundred angry people shooting

Nobody can aggress you in high-sec unless you're at war, they have kill rights, or you have wronged them (Stolen from cans, etc.).
