i keep imagining spaceships doing bombing runs on a statue set to this:
Not just that, you were also being a dick a few posts up. And all those who rated me dumb are ridiculous. You don't even see the whole situation. Also what you had said above was incorrect. You can attack in hi-sec whenver you want, so if the cops are busy he should be afraid of being attacked in the riot. Get your facts right and all your dumb "dumb" raters.
He's flying a drake. Do you think he's going to get attacked? Really??
I was camping Jita's adjoining gates for suicide kills until my internet died for a few hours.
This is the real thing.
Heh, shit like this is why EVE is hilarious I shall contribute my rifter to the cause!
That has got to be the coolest looking ingame protest I've ever seen.
Wait fuck there's rioting and I'm not playing? Why the fuck wasn't I informed? Shit I ran out of gametime five hours ago. FUCK
This sounds fun but then I remember I'm not willing to commit to an MMO.
Man if my download was fast enough I would have downloaded the whole thing just to get a random cheap ship and join the party. Oh well.
I wouldn't bring your tengu there due to the risk of getting suicide ganked for Modules.
Not a Tengu. A Maller.
Just canceled both of my subscriptions to EVE.
I might start up again in the future, plus I still have some game time left. I was going to resubscribe both for a year soon... Oh well, all they have to do is sell 4 more monocles and they will make up the lost money!
I wonder how this will affect DUST
Probably positively, apparently CCP is going to use microtransations for DUST, no subscriptions. There's a lot to learn from this, although it's starting to look like CCP hasn't learned anything from it.
What is to learn when people are complaining about something that needs time to drop in price? Dynamically, its the user bases demand that rose the price. You have to remember this is a real economy some people might forget that. I just hope I can get cash to buy new stuff, I was hoping to be a merc for a friend of mine.
lol it's not like there will be millions of new users all of whom are willing to chill 70 bucks for a fucking monocle. CCP will roll back. I know this because I am a talented wizard.

It's against corporate logic to lower prices.
any new screens?
It's against corporate logic to lower prices.
I see you're using the CCP definition of microtransactions.

That is exactly the problem here, AUR items appear out of thin air, no player is involved in the making of an AUR item. PLEX = Timecard, they have an ISK value that changes based on what the playerbase thinks PLEX is worth. AUR = Microtransaction money (more like macrotransaction), AUR has an exact ISK (and exact PLEX) value because AUR items do not change in price. CCP promised to not introduce microtransactions, now not only are they introducing vanity items (ok in itself, even though they're horribly priced and introduce a new currency for no reason), but they're talking about introducing pay2win items. [editline]25th June 2011[/editline] Not sure if this has been posted yet, very good read. http://eve.beyondreality.se/NeXCQResponse.html
PLEX = Timecard, they have an ISK value that changes based on what the playerbase thinks PLEX is worth.
Yeah, and their price has been rising, about 500k in the last 6 months if I remember correctly from the last quarterly
Yeah, and their price has been rising, about 500k in the last 6 months if I remember correctly from the last quarterly
What the hell is going on with their economy?
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=88121 Amazing read about EvE metagaming.
I'm reading this right now, and all I can say is: Holy shit! Eve is serious fucking business.
Resubbing, welcome back EVE :)
I think he's talking about the in-game price. :v: If so, a 500k rise over six months is nothing, they usually cost 400 million.
Oh wait no, it rose about 50mill in six months to 350 mill (April, exceeded 300mill, September exceeded 350mill, year's 2010). So yeah am not surprised it's 400+mill these days. [editline]26th June 2011[/editline] http://cdn1.eveonline.com/community/QEN/QEN_Q4-2010.pdf latest Quarterly if anyone wants to gawk at the econony
So wait, how much a month costs in ISK?
Currently I estimate it'd be around 400+ million ISK
Currently I estimate it'd be around 400+ million ISK
:geno:
Around 385 million a PLEX a month and a half ago last I checked.
