The terrain deformation was awesome, you could carve through mountains with your lasers.

Sadly, I never played CFS2 much since my joystick broke and my parents wouldn't buy me a new one. It's been over nine years since I last touched that game.

It's really depressing that no one else my age has played this game, mostly because it came out when I was 5. The other kids in kindergarten probably weren't watching their dads play it.

I seem to be the only person who enjoyed this game. I especially enjoyed the pickup-dead-body feature the game sported, as petty as it is. I never bothered to get Red Faction II, because I read its basic plot. Red Faction I with slightly tougher enemies? Yeah, not going to waste my money on that.

Halo: Combat Evolved solidified my appreciation of the series. While I certainly do not agree with some despicable things they've done to the franchise, such as the whole Xbox-exclusive-title thing, I still like the series as a whole.

Although it's five years old, it's definitely a nostalgia blast in the graphical quality. I still like the game, and I even crack it out every few months to try it out. I could never beat my friend though. He always used trebuchet spam, then sent in around two hundred Knights to murder me. One time I technically beat him after selling nearly everything I owned, then having every single unit retreat to the Keep. After I killed his Knights and sent him in retreat, he had to leave the match. :v:

If you combine all the time I've spent playing The Sims' series, it equals, roughly, six months.
I remember playing Open for Business as soon as I got it, but the disc was scratched to unreadability about a month afterwards and then I got a new computer, thereby erasing it. I bought it again, but a few months later The Sims 3 came out, so I lost interest.

I'm honestly surprised nobody's mentioned this yet. So many hours...
One time I had a giant Dynamite Dunes park; unfortunately, it was a total mess. I closed it down, spent nearly $10,000 dollars on the park, then opened it to massive profits. Good times, good times. The disc developed a tiny crack after twelve years of abuse on the inner ring, causing infinite loading times in My Computer, but I got another copy as a birthday gift.

I heavily enjoyed the series, especially Parallel Lines, but Driver 3 - excuse me, [i]Driv3r[/i] - was a major downturn, with impossible levels, too much gunplay (which I hate with controllers), and a bland and confusing storyline. I liked the level where you crash through the mall, though.

I know a lot of people still play it, and I'm installing it tomorrow, but it appears to have faded into Facepunch's ancient history with the announcement of Skyrim. Also, Chris Livingston, the one who made [i]Concerned[/i] and the Living in Oblivion blog, has started to re-update [url=http://livinginoblivion.wordpress.com/2007/02/28/to-sum-it-up/]Living in Oblivion[/url].
Stronghold 2, and Stronghold Legends were awful compared to Stronghold 1 and Crusader.

Uh seriously? I've never heard a bad thing said about Red Faction I, you're definitely not the "only person who enjoyed it". Not even a very obscure game.
I never heard much about it, really. I assumed it wasn't too mainstream, or else I would hear of it today.
