Co-op is fucking fun.
Honestly favorite co-op experience for me. ARMA 2 is a close runner up though.
terrorist hunt is for faggots only manly men play hostage rescue/mission
Yeah Hostage is more tense and exciting. But sometimes I want to be able to use my SPAS or M60 without having to worry about a hossie getting killed.
I love this game. I know lots of you are going to disagree with me, but Vegas 1 and Vegas 2 were SOOO much better.
The Vegas games are really good, maybe even better than Raven Shield (as games). But they were very bad sequels, imo. Raven Shield was a tactical shooter with strategy elements, whereas the Vegas games were casual shooters with some tactical shooter elements.

You could setup your gear and play all stealthy like, but it was NOTHING like the original R6s.

As far as design quality of all elements go, Vegas is pretty terrible.
Vegas should be a whole different series. Pre-Lockdown R6 games are one generation while the ones after are another.
this looks like bad game, graphics are AWFUl i'd rather play MWblackcops
Friday sounds awesome If you're interested also, add me or FalcoLombardi
Friday sounds awesome If you're interested also, add me or FalcoLombardi
Hopefully nothing goes wrong with hosting a server. Anyways, what time Friday? I live in the West Coast of U.S.
I've re-upped the mod Raven 2.0. DIRECT LINK http://db.tt/0IjFBb6 Ubisoft can go screw themselves

Hopefully.
Rest in peace, Tracy Woo. Damn she kicked ass, those terrorists never saw it coming. Only one of those sneaky bastards hid around a corner until we killed his friends, then he popped out and shot her :frown: I'm beginning to hate this mission, it's that one on the airport. I don't have a clue how to rescue the hostages in the cafeteria. Any advices?

The AI is to fucking slow so they'll just shoot the hostages right when the flashbang is thrown in. There are also windows but I already tried throwing something in myself and again it just ended with at least one of the hostages dead.

Friday starting around 5:00? I'll check to see if I'm busy, because I was thinking a bit later like 8 or so. I'll post a bit later.
Does anyone else prefer SWAT 4 over this?
Does anyone else prefer SWAT 4 over this?
Why can't we enjoy both?

I hate people like that. Your best bet is to just flashbang it out and hope to god you kill the tango that's scripted to drop the hostages. There's about two-three ways in to the cafeteria so flashbangs coming from all directions should create a mess. That or tear gas (but tear gas makes terrorists run around in a frenzy)
Why can't we enjoy both?
Yeah, I made a thread on SWAT 4 anyways
Operation Flashpoint, ARMA II, Rainbow Six 3 In order from least difficult to most
I only have RSV2 and while I thought the singleplayer was pretty fun and worth the few bucks I payed for the game, the multiplayer just plain doesn't work a lot of the time along with most other Ubisoft games I've seen. Seriously thinking about getting this one though because it really does sound a lot better
I used to love playing this, along with SWAT 3 and 4 they were really great games. A real shame the series went downhill with lockdown. I doubt we'll ever get a true rainbow six 4. Still got my original but cannot remember any account details at all.
Operation Flashpoint, ARMA II, Rainbow Six 3 In order from least difficult to most
In my opinion it goes Rainbow Six 3, Operation Flashpoint, ARMA II (although I've only played OF for a few minutes). [editline]21st April 2011[/editline] It's because the learning curves are much more steep in the last two. Rainbow Six 3 is easy to learn, but hard to pull off correctly. ARMA II is also hard to pull of correctly too, except you can spawn.
ArmA II is fucking god tier mode hard when you're playing PvP against a team of organized guys using fire and maneuver and your team is made of scrubs who play pub servers Jesus fuck.
ArmA II is fucking god tier mode hard when you're playing PvP against a team of organized guys using fire and maneuver and your team is made of scrubs who play pub servers Jesus fuck.
This. The biggest problem is that ArmA pubbies are spoiled with that evolution mod shit and all they do is shoot highly limited/overscripted AI that doesn't even fight back and unlock new vehicles. When push comes to shove and they play PVP, they don't understand how to do the most basic combat maneuvers that are built entirely to save lives/provide overwatch. You don't need that in Raven Shield as much because you're scarcely in the open. As long as you have someone to watch your back you're good to go
You guys make me feel bad for not have ever playing PvP in ARMA 2. I'll try it out sometime.
You guys make me feel bad for not have ever playing PvP in ARMA 2. I'll try it out sometime.
it's absolutely life changing
Whoa guys, I must've clicked on the wrong thread. Last time I checked, this thread was about Raven Shield
