god i'm excited for this game the cinematic trailers are so well done it gives me shivers, the soundtrack expertly mixes faint electronic elements with classical composure, and from what i hear, people are quite impressed by the leak.
Does the demo end right before going to[sp]Shanghai[/sp]? The helicopter before going there has an invisible wall around it. :smith:
I don't have the same card, in fact I am pretty sure my card isn't as powerful as yours. My memory clock is pretty much half of yours. I'm running on ATI 5770, although it's been reported that DE:HR works on ATI better than on Nvidia as far as I know.
Well I did try overclocking it and that made me able to play for about 10 seconds then crash so clearly I can't be OCed when I play this. I'll just stay at factory and save a lot for now. And wow holy shit do you run fast when holding forward and strafe key at the same time.
Damnit I crashed after [sp]The guy hooked to the terminal shoots himself[/sp] Game's lookin' good so far
The AI in this game is a little odd "What's that? It looked like a guy rolling around on the ground, better go look for few seconds to see if he starts rolling again" I'm not sure what's going on here, my computer crashes and these lines come onto my screen. This happens every time I play after about 20-40 minutes. Had to use my phone to take a snap of it. [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/06020195210100.jpg[/img_thumb]
I had this back when my video card was almost dead.
yeah it's definitely not a good sign
Anyone else notice this?
I had this back when my video card was almost dead.
Except mine is only a little over a month old, plays perfect on every game but this. It seems to be doing OK after turning down the clocks a little, but still don't understand why it's only this game. I'm pleading for it to be because it's just the beta.
i still think it's just your VGA isn't getting enough power
So turning up the voltage you mean? It is at 1.025 V. GPU - gtx 570 Drivers - 275.33 win 7 64 bit
So turning up the voltage you mean? It is at 1.025 V. GPU - gtx 570 Drivers - 275.33 win 7 64 bit
no your PSU isn't supplying enough juice to it while playing dues ex so the GPU is forced to shut down
yeah no why you lag with a gtx 570.
So turning up the voltage you mean? It is at 1.025 V. GPU - gtx 570 Drivers - 275.33 win 7 64 bit
Try WHQL drivers or older ones, like first driver to support 570. Also you try running game with lower power profile using nVidia inspector.
Here is a giant batch of screenshots I took in the preview build: http://db.tt/P6Xhbko Don't look if you don't want spoilers.
My HDD arrived in the post yesterday, so now I can finally use my gaming rig to play this.
Argh, I know my 260 is going to cry playing this. Should really upgrade sometime. :frown:
Argh, I know my 260 is going to cry playing this. Should really upgrade sometime. :frown:
I play maxed with 460 on 1680x1050. Retail release should play on 260 fine. It's not a demanding game. Game's about story and freedom, not graphics. It also multiplatform, so I doubt you'd be playing with worse graphics than consoles with weaker GPUs I hope.
If you didn't finish the dxhr prebuild don't click these spoiler tags, it's just my thoughts about the storyline: [sp]I think the first thing which made me bother is how Megan hints that she can't tell how she made her discovery about combining the DNA with augs. I'm not sure whether she means it was achieved by unethical or immoral means. Some Subject X was mentioned on a pocket secretary file. I have a feeling they used this technology on Adam, which basically makes this anti-rejection drug useless, as they say it's not normal how well the implants are accepted by his body, even he's not on the substance. It gets even weirder when you get to the morgue with the hacker who was forced to suicide by this nice mind control aug. Suddenly shady government agencies start to show up and don't want anyone to find out about the data on the hidden wetdrive in the hackers brain. It's all about FEMA, Homeland Sec and Manderly in the emails. I'm not sure how the FedGov <--> proxy soldier connection works out. It's weird that they are involved on the attack at Sarif Industries. Most contractors are DoD, so the government isn't doing anything good if they kill scientists working for them. I still can't figure out why nothing was stolen. They just killed Megan and her team and burned every trace about their work with an unknown fire accelerant. It's the part where I get these thoughts it might all be staged. Someone didn't want that details would leak to the public about how exactly Megan's discovery was made. Things like how they got a different medical examiner to work on the case and cops quitting their job after the incident. For what reason if not to cover up something about her death? Maybe she's still alive, but then she might actually be worse off if they force her to continue her work against her will. (would be too much drama if you ask me, her death is basically the only reason why this is personal for Adam) All I want is that David isn't involved in all of this. He seems like a good guy and visionary, but things like Adams fast healing cast doubts on him. Everyone was thinking Adam wouldn't be back 6 months earlier. David definitely has secrets he isn't telling us for a reason. Probably there are just other companies behind this, like Versalife, they wouldn't like their drug being useless.[/sp] Guess I'll have to wait until my copy arrives with the mail. Just happy it's a brilliant game and the story is great.
^^ A lot of those questions are answered in The Icarus Effect. Half the book is from the perspective of those mercenaries.

Kinda wish the game would come out like, now. Don't want to have to wait a whole 2-3 months. :frown:
I'm just want a twist like DE1 since the Sarif offices would be very cool for sneaking
The [sp]hacker[/sp] could be [sp]Pritchard[/sp] even if that makes no sense since he's helping you, he's just a dick.
Argh, I know my 260 is going to cry playing this. Should really upgrade sometime. :frown:
I have a 280 and it runs fine on 1920x1080 max details, no AA because it's broken And by fine I mean 40-50 fps in the Detroit hub, 120-170 fps indoors
Cursessss. How do I sneak into the police station? I tried talking to Haas but I got him not to talk to me.
I have an ATI 3870x2 (not Crossfire, its 2 cards built into one) and I run this fine with No AA at 1920x1080 Then again I'm really used to playing games at lower then "high" FPS so I might not notice.
