There's also a vent on the roof
Cursessss. How do I sneak into the police station? I tried talking to Haas but I got him not to talk to me.
Sewers also have a way to get in.
No I mean I already got him to refuse to talk to me, how else can I get in? Is the sewers the way that is electrocuted?
No I mean I already got him to refuse to talk to me, how else can I get in? Is the sewers the way that is electrocuted?
Stack boxes round the left hand side of the entrance then use the fire escape. You can get in via the sewers as well.
How do I disable the electricity in the sewers?
There's a switch halfway through the corridor, I used 2 boxes to get across the water
How do I disable the electricity in the sewers?
use the electric breaker box
Where's that? Oh.
Just finished the leak, even though that was short I enjoyed it really well
Do enemies ever wake up from being stunned? Or they basically 'dead' with out being dead?
I'd imagine other enemies can wake them up.
Yeah other enemies wake the up
Graaah, I can't find any boxes! [editline]3rd June 2011[/editline]
There's a switch halfway through the corridor, I used 2 boxes to get across the water
Wait water?
Yeah on the floor in the corridor There's a box behind the concrete pipes behind the hobos and another one inside the corridor
There's a switch halfway through the corridor, I used 2 boxes to get across the water
I did this too, pretty funny
You know, unlike most leaks, I think this leak actually boosted sales quite a bit. Hell, I was going to wait until the Christmas sales started rolling in to get it, but I've enjoyed the leak so much that I honestly want to get it on release day now. It's almost perfect with it's mixture of old-school and new-school gameplay. They didn't rely too much on nostalgia, but they still threw quite a few callbacks in (I nerdgasmed when I heard the [sp]UNATCO theme[/sp]) and still made it feel familiar, while also feeling like a fresh experience (Although the Augmentation system could definitely use some fleshing out) Only real complaints I have are that the levels feel quite a bit more claustrophobic than the original and, probably as a result of the modern-day mindset of most developers that make them feel "gypped" if the players don't see everything, you can't take shortcuts through levels like you could in the first game. Still, it's one helluva lot better than Invisible War. You can still approach levels however you like, and decisions actually seem to make a lot more impact than they did in Invisible War. Also, I'm a little disappointed by the lack of corny one-liners. There are a few, and Adam Jensen is still a cheesy brooding badass (Although still fairly well-written), but there haven't really been any "A BOMB"s or "What A Shame"s yet. [editline] June 3, 2011 [/editline] And I'm kind of annoyed by the fact that the Cover button is glitched, so you can't bind it to a different key. Especially since my middle mouse button is half-broken. Although it's just a minor inconvenience, it makes me long for Leaning even more.
Oh my fucking god the voice acting is genuine Deus Ex style (Horrible) in the leak. Just wait untill someone attempts to act some kind of emotion.

The lobby area that you run through to quickly get from the Sarif/LIMB area to the Detroit Police Station?
Oh my fucking god the voice acting is genuine Deus Ex style (Horrible) in the leak. Just wait untill someone attempts to act some kind of emotion.
this is a good thing
Oh my fucking god the voice acting is genuine Deus Ex style (Horrible) in the leak. Just wait untill someone attempts to act some kind of emotion.
What? I love the voice acting, especially Adam's. He really sounds so detached and resentful sometimes. Sarif Employee: "Welcome back Jensen, they've put you nicely together." Adam: "I never asked for this."
Hey btw, is there any way to widen the FOV?
Does everyone in this Thread now have the leak? Did I miss something?
I beat the leak, it was fun. Now I've deleted, and now to wait.
So how good is the stealth in this game?
Oh my fucking god the voice acting is genuine Deus Ex style (Horrible) in the leak. Those Screenshots make me want to preorder it already, god damn it.
So how good is the stealth in this game?
quite good, but stealth kills draw power so you can't sneak up on everyone before the battery recharges automatically. i didn't spend any points on cloak, because you don't get much points in this version. enemies will also hear you fairly well without noise reducing leg augs. i need a trainer for this, just to experiment with all augs and find my favourite combination.
Did you use the alleyways? The sewer system? The lobby area that you run through to quickly get from the Sarif/LIMB area to the Detroit Police Station?
Actually, I've barely even gotten halfway through the Leak at this point (Only even heard about it yesterday afternoon). And I was more assuming there wouldn't be any later on from the comments of other people. Although said people aren't exactly the most reliable sources n the world. Well, in that case, I suppose I have next to no complaints then. I also find it really great how both HR and DE1 have pretty bad voice acting, yet still manage to have a really interesting plot and atmospheric setting. I'm pretty sure even the developers know that people want the VAs to be terrible.
Has anyone uploaded a decent Lets Play of the leak yet?
