I'd be afraid to try and run it if I had it, for fear of retribution of some sort. Didn't something similar happen to another game a while back, and not Crysis 2? And just to keep the previous conversation going, I think I'm getting the Augmented Edition on Amazon at max $35, or free at the least, due to massive amounts of credit I've built up there. Complete with all bonuses offered there, so I'm happy.

Assuming they dint jam another layer of DRM in there. But the benefits of using an official version outweigh the pirated if it just uses steam anyway.

What if you'd pre-ordered the game already?[/QUOTE] What I'd quite like to see is a system wherein you can download a sizeable chunk of a game (1/8th or maybe even so much as 1/4) as a long demo and if you enjoy the game, buy it and be able to use the save progress you've made in the demo to carry on playing from the point where the demo ended, modern demos are usually so minuscule and cherry picked that they're often very unrepresentative of the actual quality of the game or just too short to give you a good idea of how the game is, I hate that and would like to see a change.

I didn't read that right somehow :v: I still don't see why exactly you would want to play a leaked build of a game. As the Crysis 2 leak proved, it was a buggy piece of shit in most cases, and was missing some content (not all). It would just ruin the experience of the full game for me. Maybe using it for the first few levels as a demo of sorts.

Considering it's less than 3GB I doubt it's the full game. Probably a preview of sorts.
