Deus Ex: Human Revolution Megathread V2 - Electronic Old Men Running The World - Games

I love hacking the servers in this minigame which grant you bonuses like XP, cash and hacking software.

Even if I have the passwords I'll still be like "lolno" and do the hacking to get the bonuses :v:

I swear just randomly going up to a civilian and taking them out stealthily (like choking) is funny.

Wasn't there a hacking minigame on the website? Where is it?

I played this about 3 times through during my ban, I'm still stunned everytime I run it. I hope that the demo is just about 10-20% of the game, but they said on their tumblr that the game is about 25-30 hours long, which is incredibly awesome. I also uploaded some to my youtube, mostly to get traffic, but also to showcase the awesomeness of this game.

Okay, how the FUCK am I supposed to kill Barret. I was all stealth up to this point and I'm entirely unprepared. I didn't ask for this.

To kill Barret, stun him with EMP and Flash nades, then run away and throw nrmal Frags or Explosives at him, about 4 explosives and 2 frags are enough to kill him usually. If you picked up either the sniper rifle or the rocket launcher earlier, those weapons are effective against him too, but it he's already damaged, you can just spray him down with the AR and he'll die too. If you can't win the fight after a few tries, go back in the level and grab the ARs of the guards and the rocket launcher in the cage right at the beginning, they'll really help you.

I threw an EMP 'nade, shot him couple of times with the sniper to the head, then threw a frag mine and he died.

I didn't ask for this.[/QUOTE] Your playing on the highest difficulty right? It was rather easy for me, even on my first playthrough with no infinite ammo and unlocked augs. He just walked and shot at you. Kind of an easy simple fight.

Adam stabbed him in the throat with his blade, and then a grenade blew up in his face, I highly doubt he can survive that, even with augs.
