If I'm given the opportunity to kill Sarif at some point in the game, I will most likely refuse to do so because I like him too much.
Well, I'm glad I tried the leak out. I'm definitely going to buy the game. Also running this on Athalon 64x2, Geforce 8500gt with 2gb of ram and its pretty playable on lowest-lowest settings. Also the Police building air ducts are full of unconscious police officers.

He is a massive dick. Edit: I just know it, like Manderley. Also i bet Sarif industries do all kinds of crazy human experiments and get rich with that neurohypozyneewsr while people suffer and become poor. Edit2: Also majority of thel technology they create is centered around killing people :colbert: That's being a massive dick enough.
If you do some investigating around the city hub ( [sp] something about video footage from the attack being taken and put in a bin [/sp] ) you find that [sp] the stolen video footage contains images of the Tyrants (mercs who attacked) bringing something unidentifiable into the labs [/sp] my theory is [sp] its another body which is burnt; the police data is then tampered to make them believe its megans. When really she is alive. [/sp]. also [sp] in the attack cutscene barrett is holding a body, possible the dupe for megans death. And in the first cinematic trailer adam asks where is she and barret replies you'll never find her [/sp] Therefore I think [sp] Megans alive [/sp]
pretty much points to that, [sp]as she if far too valuable to be killed. just look at the intro with Bob Page where they say that she isn't really out of "their" reach. guess they just snatched her.[/sp]
Unless they burned all flesh to cinder or broke down the DNA structure it still makes no sense
[sp]Manderley[/sp] closed down the case and appointed a guy as the autopsy doctor who most likely falsified the DNA tests.
Did that guy who made the cool trainer ever kept working on adding more features? [editline]14th June 2011[/editline] s0beit
s0beit Let's keep calling his name.
s0beit Let's keep calling his name.
or I could just write him a PM [editline]14th June 2011[/editline] did anyone pay attention to that rocket which is flying through downtown in the latest trailers? looks like it ejects a huge EMP device.
I did hardly kill with special moves, only used guns for this. so it's random if blades are used or the hand drill happens when attacking with the t-button?
it depends on whether or not your target is facing you and whether or not it's stealth or just a frontal rush attack [editline]14th June 2011[/editline] also i think if your target is moving, that affects it too
Pointing out the alternate paths and making them obvious is probably a strategy for the developers to make the game easier to get into, and the more complex stuff will come later. You have to remember that they need to sell this game to a wide audience to do successfully, and most gamers today are used to on-rails target shooters where straying from the path earns you a checkpoint reset.
Minor things: You can't pick up absolutely everything anymore - I had fun throwing cups and soda cans at people in the original Deus Ex :saddowns: You can't use vending machines, snack machines, or coffee machines - Guess we won't be continuing the "Lemon-Lime, Orange" conspiracy from the original Deus Ex. :arghfist::saddowns: (Eidos REALLY fucked up with this in my opinion)
Picking up cans and throwing them isn't what made Deus Ex Deus Ex. Using a vending machine isn't why this game is praised. Cameras, perhaps, but still, they were fucking obvious once you get near in DE1. You can hear them, see the bright green light on it.
Major: The alternate paths - The way they made the alternate paths in Human Revolution definitely weren't as good as how they were in the original Deus Ex. In the first mission they basically left most if not all of the alternate paths out in the open for you to see, giving you almost no reason to do any exploring. Maybe because it was a first mission/tutorial? Plus, no matter which path you choose, in the end you always end up going down the same path, through the same rooms, to the same objective. It would have been nice if they could have branched out more and done these alternate paths better by taking us to places we normally wouldn't see had we gone the other route and vice-vera, and given us the option to do different things by taking different paths, but whatever. You said about picking a different path but how it is different if "you always end up going down the same path"? "To the same objective"? You mean like, you go through a roof instead of the main entrance and you suddenly have to disarm a bomb instead of doing what you were supposed to do before? It's definitely not the original Deus Ex, (of course it isn't, it's Human Revolution :downs:) but it's still good (an incredible game because unlike other developers, they didn't fuck up their franchise and stayed true to the original's gameplay) game (yes)... It's just not Deus Ex in my opinion. (no it is, it has "Deus Ex" written on the boxart :downs:)
It's your opinion of course.
Helios ending is best ending.
Helios ending is best ending.
Late or disagree?
Is there quicksave in the leak having it always makes stealth options less frustrating?
F5.
Guys, do you think Megan is dead? I kind of think its a lie.
Guys, do you think Megan is dead? I kind of think its a lie.
It's implied that she isn't dead, the trailers and leak help give the full picture.
Heh, in the first picture you can see the words "GAME SCHEDULE" in the upper left corner
Yeah it was for Baseball. [editline]14th June 2011[/editline] I missed an entire page...
Guys, do you think Megan is dead? I kind of think its a lie.
check the middle of this page and page 31, you'd be surprised what some people already figured out here. How many candy bars will it take to get this you think?
Imagine having one of those IRL.
All my money.
Imagine having one of those IRL.
I'd mount that shit on my wall, or on my arm if it worked.

[sp]Does anyone else have the feeling that Adam himself is Patient X? He's probably this genetic forerunner, which would also easily explain why he doesn't need neuropoxyne to keep his body from rejecting the augmentations, and it would also explain how awkward Megan is towards him in the beginning.[/sp]
Rofl who used health packs all you'd need to do is get the healing aug to level 3 and then use the special aug that brings everything up a level for a couple seconds and you're fully healed ooooh so "tactical"
Even when I don't have that aug I don't use healthpacks either. Those medbots go a long way if you use them right.
Manderley has assigned me the peacekeeping occupation of this district
