AFAIK there really isn't much of a difference if you don't save them other than some dialogue and the fact that it's impossible for you to get a pretty negligible discount from one of the arms dealers during the free roam section.

after playing around 3 hours of the preview build im totally buyin this shit i tried being silent most of the time and sometimes i accidentally fuck up and get shot to death. I like how it makes the ammo in guns limited to find, makes you think smarter

I have to admit here, I never played DE1. So I can't judge whether or not HR is like it, or gives the same atmosphere. But what I can say is that HR is an absolutely fantastic game. Oh, and @BinLaden34, you don't have to redo the game, you could just redo the lower part of the level and grab the rocket launcher.

We need a picture containing all the regular Deus Ex posters, like the STALKER megathread has.

And yeah I assume we all play on Give Me Deus Ex because that's what you should do - it gives you the difficulty Deus Ex is built upon.

No trainer. I know, it's a pain in the ass to deal with ammo but that's what I love about it, sitting there in the corner for 3 minutes straight studying their movements and taking out one by, eventually fucking up and running from cover to cover with my Assault Rifle, crossing fingers not to die.

Suddenly, everyone starts posting in the thread just to get featured in a most-not-likely-drawn picture. That's a nice strategy to get this thread popular actually. :buddy:
