I thought the chick in the comics looked a hell of a lot more formal? I've stopped reading them because its probably going to be big plot spoilers.
Her name is Zhao Yun Ru, I've just checked the comics again. Issue 5 of 6. [editline]27th June 2011[/editline] don't be afraid of spoilers, the comics only prepare for the game.
Tong is DLC and not critical. Hasn't been confirmed to be Maggie yet but might as well be.
you see her in the newest trailer, and the DLC is free if you got the augmented addition
I think I'm going to name my first born deus ex 1
no way that this is maggie chow, isn't that the tai yong medical chick from the comics? I mean could be her nonetheless, but she running a mega corp?
[spoilers]She is part of the people talkin to bob page at the beginning of the demo.[/spoilers]
I think I'm going to name my first born deus ex 1
More like: JC Ahbohmb.
a
Spoilers. Seriously, anything plot-related like that should be wrapped in spoiler tags.
I have a feeling that Pritchard will be one of those guys who seems like a horrible pain in the ass douchebags, but we'll end up loving him in the end. Though I prefer Alex over Pritchard.

I literally can't take any snide remarks he makes at me seriously simply because I just think right away, "You play Final Fantasy, your argument is invalid."

I still haven't played the full game obviously but I already prefer Pritchard over Alex because it's kind of an interesting relationship they got there instead of "There's mole people there bro". Maybe I just replayed Deus Ex 1 way too much. :v:

Its kept between smart remarks and sarcasm, which is pretty nice. The first scene, with Megan and him in the elevator was really nice. Also, the voice acting isn't that bad. I like David's voice acting. The only thing "not so nice" is the characters animations, but they arent that bad. Dammit, why isn't it moving?...
I don't see how people can compare Pritchard to Alex. He's a constant jack ass and not once seemed to be acting friendly. Heck we don't even know what his genuine motive for working there is, he just seems to be doing it for the money but when it boils down to his philosophy we don't know jack shit. I'm surprised I haven't seen any neural augs on him. Need opinion on the whole group picture thing. Just a random background or should I try to integrate everyone into that Sarif office concept art?
A question, is there any way to store weapons and items? I'm not gonna be able to carry all that crap with me. Then more stuff is gonna come along... Oh god, the "take every item you see" syndrome is coming back :ohdear:...

That's the fun of it. Do you want to stock up on mainly silent equipment or load up on heavy rifles and shotguns.
That's not it. I assume we get awarded the sniper and the double barrel shotgun at the first mission like on the leak. What if I want to store them somewhere else later?
Drop them in your office?
I wish you could move items around, I'd love to add more stuff to the locker in the apartment..
Drop them in your office?
i'm gonna do that experiment and drop something in my apartment. And then I'll see if it stays there after leaving and coming back. [editline]27th June 2011[/editline]
I wish you could move items around, I'd love to add more stuff to the locker in the apartment..
Like on Fallout 3, where you "grabbed" stuff, stole it somewhere out of sight, and people still saw you.
That's not it. I assume we get awarded the sniper and the double barrel shotgun at the first mission like on the leak.
They're pre order bonuses that're enabled in the preview.
They're pre order bonuses that're enabled in the preview.
Yeah but he means if you use the codes to get them, you'll probably get them at that bit in the full game. To be honest, I doubt you'll want them for long, there's always going to be something better eventually.
The first scene, with Megan and him in the elevator was really nice.
you can tell in that scene Pritchard is thinking "aww yeah cockblocked you motherfuckaaaa"
i'm gonna do that experiment and drop something in my apartment. [editline]27th June 2011[/editline] people who are not into the game must think we're nuts

I'm also into the game and I'm completly normal... ...until I do the beast from within the vent system. Also, should had filmed this bug I saw on the first dead scientist corpse during the attack. It was lying on the floor but moving around the place where it was. As if it spinned around an invisible axis near the head. Also, while doing the beast from within the vent system, I somehow switched places with the guy. I ended up "sitting" on the chair he was on, and he warped out of it, as if I had made the takedown both on our feet. Fun stuff. A wee bit anti-climatic, but pretty funny nonetheless.
Just beat the Deus Ex for the first time. Great game, It's been a while since I've been able to sit down and just play a game for hours at a time.
What ending did you go for?
What ending did you go for?
Helios, it seemed like the right thing to do.
