Your appointment to E3 should be finalised within the week; I have already discussed the matter with the organiser.
I take it he was agreeable.
He didn't really have a choice.
Is he hyped?
Oh yes, most certainly. When I mentioned we could put him on the priority list for the preorder, he was so willing it was almost pathetic.
This leak; the downloading is intensifying to the point where we might not be able to contain it.
Why contain it? Let it spill out into the forums and chans, let the players rack up into the thousands. In the end, they'll beg us to release it.
I've received reports of people looking around the game files to try to predict the plot. There's not enough leak to go around, and the fanbase is starting to get desperate.
Of course they're desperate, they can smell GOTY, and the sound they'll make rattling their cage will serve as a wakeup call to the electronic old men, running the industry.
Mmm. I hope you're not underestimating the problem. The others may not go as quietly as you think - Intelligence indicates they're working on Prey 2.
A bunch of pretentious old men, playing at changing the industry. But the industry left them behind long ago. We are the future.
We have other problems.
Valve?
Formed by ex-Microsoft employees. I have someone in place though, I'm more concerned about Kotick.
Our devteam is far in advance of theirs, as is our graphics engine. And their ... inflexibility has allowed us to make progress in areas they refuse to consider.
The AI?
Among other things - but I must admit that I've been somewhat disappointed by the performance of the Sarif voiceactor.
The replacement should be in Montreal soon. He's currently undergoing preparation and will be operational within six months. My people will continue to report on his progress, within six months. If necessary the current VO will be replaced.
We've had to endure much, you and I, but soon there will be innovation again, a new age. Warren Spector spoke of the mythical emergent gameplay. Soon that gameplay will be a reality, and we will be crowned its kings. Or better than kings. Gods.
:golfclap:
Bravo. It fits perfectly.
Somehow, it made the first Deus Ex sound even more awesome.
The game is done! After 4 yrs of non stop work
Like Walton Simons, people in this thread are very patient men, though I wish we had ways to make them release earlier.
I face a dilemma; which side of the double sided poster should I have on my wall, DE:HR or BF3?
bring on the neo-renaissance!
[editline]1st July 2011[/editline]
dxhr of course
I face a dilemma; which side of the double sided poster should I have on my wall, DE:HR or BF3?
Depends what they look like. Also bad thread to ask, we're all gonna say DXHR.
I face a dilemma; which side of the double sided poster should I have on my wall, DE:HR or BF3?
You're asking in a DX:HR thread. Think.
I face a dilemma; which side of the double sided poster should I have on my wall, DE:HR or BF3?
You should have both.
But have it so that it changes depending on which way you look at the poster.
I face a dilemma; which side of the double sided poster should I have on my wall, DE:HR or BF3?
Make hole in wall > install revolving panel > put poster between two glass plates to secure it firmly > program to spin around every other hour.
I face a dilemma; which side of the double sided poster should I have on my wall, DE:HR or BF3?
Scan the other side and rasterbate it
or go to a poster printing company and scan it there
You're asking in a DX:HR thread. Think.
The implication being that there is a polarization of opinion between two games?
The implication being that there is a polarization of opinion between two games?
Depends on what you prefer really.
The implication being that there is a polarization of opinion between two games?
Most people are going to favor DXHR, since thats what this thread is about.
Adam Jenson just has more personality and I prefer the vista of a future city or whatever is on that poster
Have to be honest, I do love the Battlefield 3 guy. Jensen stands out a lot more though.
I've pre-order both BF3 and this. That's all folks.

The future is now because I don't have to worry about pretentious old work. Must continue group picture soon.
we might have it ready then for the next thread :haw:
This thread will be over very soon, I doubt it'll be ready.

200 posts ahead, with it's progress I think spekter might have just enough time to get the 15 regulars into the picture.
[editline]1st July 2011[/editline]
And then slowly add more.

Who's he?
Who's he?
A troll who bashed the game for the tiniest things and when they got fixed he would still be angry.

Damn! I'm never around at times like these...

Pre-leak. Would make assumptions like everyone else but took bashing it way too far.
Heck even I was worried at first but it dampened quick and then when I got to play it, all fears gone.
